Kyle felt a small thump when he smiled, "I-I don't mean a date date! I mean't like a friend date, you know?" Kyle looked up and saw Tony's smile still there.
Charles and Scarlet looked at him in suspicion but nonetheless he continued, "I-I was disrespectful and rude to you...I want to apologize for my actions and what better way to make it up to you?" Kyle was flushed but he stood his ground, he knew what he did was wrong and he wants to own up to his actions. It took a lot out of Kyle to swallow his own pride and look at the mistakes he's committed but he knows it'll take a lot more to forgiven.
"At the end of the day, I'll give you an answer." Tony smiled as he walked away, truly giving the decision some thought. There Kyle stood, a happy look on his face as it seemed he now has a chance to work this. Finally but then, nervousness struck.
'What if he doesn't say yes and doesn't forgive me?'
'I'd been too harsh and rude, that couldn't be all wiped with just sorries and happy endings..'
His mind was beginning to be plagued with dark thoughts and so, he spent the rest of the day waiting anxiously until the time has come and the two stood in front of the school gate. "So, what's your answer Tony? I completely understand if you say no be-" The boy was unable to finish his sentence as he got cut off.
"I'll give you a chance and say yes."
