I wake up in a room that I do not know and, intrigued, I sit on the bed to look around better. A light sigh to my left makes me turn in surprise but then I realize that it is my brother Sunoo who is still sleeping. Wait a minute, what are my brother and I doing in the same bed and still dressed like yesterday? Then the reality hits me. Yesterday. Yesterday Jungwon almost died trying to save the King. An infinite number of questions float in my head: who brought us here? Where are Jake, Jay, Heeseung and Riki? How is my cousin now? And the King? What happens now? Slightly worried I get up and start walking around the room thinking about whether to wake Sunoo or not, but at that moment Riki enters the room and looks at me slightly amazed, as if not expecting me to be awake.
R: "Oh, you're awake Sunghoon hyung. How are you feeling?" ME: "A bit better, thank you Riki" R: "No problem" says the boy smiling softly "Jake hyung sent me here to wake you two up and to tell you to come to the castle's infirmary" ME: "Oh, ok. Can you tell me where is the infirmary? So you can wake Sunoo up calmly, he's a bit hard to wake up" R: "Ok, thanks for telling me" he giggles "For the infirmary you just need to turn left and go straight to the stairs, then go up them and you will find it in the first door on the right" ME: "Thank you Riki, see you there"
I wave at the boy and then exit the room. I follow Riki's directions and arrive at the infirmary. Before entering, I knock softly and shyly put my head inside to see if anyone is there. A smiling Jake welcomes me:
JK: "Good morning Sunghoon, have you slept well?" ME: "Yes, thank you. What about you?" JK: "I slept good, thanks" says him smiling at me "where are Riki and Sunoo?" ME: "Oh well, I was already awake when Riki came in, he told me where the infirmary was so he could wake up my brother calmly. Not even an attack of giant dragons would wake that boy up" JK: "He's like me" says him laughing "Do you want to see your cousin?" ME: "Yes please"
Jake guides me through the various rooms of the infirmary, until I arrive at one that seems slightly larger than the others. We enter and see Jay and Heeseung sitting by a bed where, to my relief, I see Jungwon sleeping peacefully. We approach them.
H: "Hey Sunghoon" says Heeseung smiling and waving at me J: "Good morning" says Jay yawning ME: "Good morning guys, how's my cousin?" J: "Nothing serious luckily, he just lost a lot of blood" H: "Yeah he just has to rest a bit, only a scar will remain" JK: "Your cousin was very brave" ME: "Yes...I know" J: "He really scared everyone, but yes, I agree with Jake"
Saying this he turns to my cousin looking at him with respect and...love? Affect? What?
H: "Well, now let's talk about something else. Where are the two lovebirds?" says the boy smirking
While we were laughing the door to the room opens and the aforementioned lovebirds enter.
J: "Here they are" S: "Did we miss something?" H: "No don't worry. By the way, have you slept well Sunoo?" S: "Yeah, thank you" ME: "Riki, please, explain to me how did you wake him up in such a short time. It only took you 10 minutes" S: "Oh well, he woke me up with-" R: "I woke him up with sweet words" says Riki interrupting my brother and blushing furiously JK: "Sweet what?" says Jake halfway between amused and confused R: "Words hyung, words" JK: "And why are you blushing so hard?" R: "I'm not" says Riki looking away "It's only a bit hot in here" JK: "Oh yes, you-" S: "How's Jungwon?" JK: "Why does everyone interrupt me at the best of the situation?" whispers Jake to himself J: "He's good, he just has to rest a bit and-"
As Jay and Heeseung explain to my brother what they have already told me before I see Riki sigh in relief and when Sunoo turns to him he mouths some thanks. My brother just smiles and then he turns to the others and says:
S: "And now what happens? Did we forget that the King was also hit by that flying thing last night?" H: "Shall we go and see if everything is ok?" JK: "Yeah ok, let's go"
Everyone starts to leave Jungwon's room. I turn around, look at him for a moment and then follow them. Jake leads us to the King's apartments and makes us wait in a sitting room while he goes to ask about his father. After a few minutes he comes back with a confused expression and tells us that his father is not in his apartments but in the private infirmary and that he said that from now one the eight of us will live in the castle and that we must go to the shaman who lives in the cave near the castle park when Jungwon is awake and in full swing of its strength.
J: "What does this mean?" JK: "I don't know, he seemed in a sort of trance" S: "This is really strange" R: "I agree, but the only thing that we can do now is wait for Jungwon to wake up and regain his strength" H: "Riki is right, we only have to wait. In addition, now I have to go back to my parents and explain to them that I will have to stay here. I greet you guys, see you in two or three days" ALL: "Bye Heeseung hyung"
We watch him walk away until he turns the corner and gets out of sight, then Jay says:
J: "I go back to the infirmary to look after Jungwon guys, you can find me there"
And said that he walks away too.
S: "And now? What do we do?" ME: "We have to inform our father about this" JK: "No problem, I'll take care of it. Sunoo, how about you and Riki spend some time together?" S: "For me it's ok" R: "A-also for me. See you later then" says Riki walking away with my brother and blushing lightly ME: "You did it again" I say giggling JK: "How do you think Riki woke up your brother?" ME: "I don't know...talking to him?" JK: "I think he kissed him" ME: "WHAT?!" I almost choke at Jake's statement JK: "Isn't it obvious?" ME: "Maybe yes actually" JK: "See?" ME: "Yeah. What do we do now?" JK: "How about my garden?" ME: "You're the Prince, you decide" JK: "Let's go then" says him smiling at me widely
Having said that he takes me by the hand and guides me towards his garden.
