Just One Kiss [Minlix] ✓

July, 1st 2017 [Part 1]

Minho grittes his teeth at the sight of Felix in a college students party. Dating someone older is fine and all - of course he's lying - but attending a party? It's way to dangerous even for some college students themselves, let alone someone as innocent as Felix.

"Don't do something stupid and just watch them from afar." Chanhee reminds him before walking somewhere else.

And thankfully, he does exactly that; silently and attentively watching the freckled boy, trying to make out if he ever shows even the slightest uncomfortable body gestures.

But after a while, he gives up. The sight is too hurtful to look at.

"I've always imagined I'll be that one person who gives your freckles some little pecks. But I guess I was wrong."

He releases a deep sigh; trying to soothe his tightening, heavy chest. But it becomes even harder as tears have made their way to stroll down his cheeks. Fortunately, he has managed to walk a bit far from the party when he starts to cry.

"Hyungie?"

He unknowingly holds his breath and sniffle at the unexpected voice calling him.

"Say... are you still the same hyungie?"

He eventually turns around after dabbing the tears, eyes focused on the ground. "Of course I am."

"You are?"

"Mm."

Felix's lips form a pout. "Then why didn't you scold me and drag me out from the party like what my old hyungie would do??"

"I don't have the right to." He simply answers, eyes finally meets the younger. "Your boyfriend does."

The freckled boy slowly approaches the older then says, "But he isn't my boyfriend, though. He's just a hyung who helps me to make my crush jealous... I don't know if it works or not though."

Minho blinks his eyes at the untold truth, a weak chuckle follows. "It absolutely does."

A small smile creeps upon the younger's lips at the response. "Then... does it impactful enough to persuade you to be mine?"

Minho stays silent. His eyes unknowingly return to stare at the ground while mind ponders over unnecessary thoughts, making the boy slowly create some distance.

"I guess my mom was right... Not everyone can be with their first love." He weakly smiles. The back of his hands dab the tears that begins to uncontrollably escape his eyes.

"I'm really sorry that our friendship is ruined because of me." And that's the last sentence uttered by Felix before he turns around and heads back to the party.
