You stared at the screen waiting for a reply nervously. Fiddling with your thumbs, you bit your lip. Although you had only just started talking, you felt a strong connection. Knowing he was unwell was like a dagger through your little heart.

Hopping into the car, you immediately started speeding to the hospital. Your heart pounded fiercely in your chest. The bright headlights of the other cars burned into your retina but you ignored it. The streets were strangely busy but the roars of the other motors on the road was blurred. Spinning the wheel sharply, you skidded into the hospital parking lot. You reversed into a spot and clambered out. You began to run towards the building, locking the car as you did so.
Slamming the doors open with your palms you charged down the hallways. You slid to a stop when you reached the toilets. Your heart was racing in your chest as you looked up. Your mouth dropped when you saw him. "J-Jimin?" You stuttered in shock. "Hey y/n..." he nervously replied. His cheeks were glowing crimson. Under his eyes were slightly swollen and very dark. He did look exhausted. His hand was gripping firmly on the wall to keep him standing. "What are you doin-" you stopped as you realised he said your name. "Jae-ho......?" You questioned. "I had to say that. I wasn't allowed to let you know who i am..." he spoke softly. Calmingly. You stared into his pretty eyes as he stared back into yours. "That doesn't matter right now" you blurted out, even though clearly it did matter "what does matter is your health, you must get back to your room. I now understand why you're exhausted" He watched you and gently took your hand in his. "You promise we can keep messaging?" He whimpered with puppy dog eyes. His warm hand holding yours and gradually getting tighter. He was shaking slightly. Then his arm suddenly swung round your neck and he fell against you completely. His eyes shut. You held onto him but couldn't take his weight. You collapsed on the floor, though luckily u managed to pull him on top of you so he wouldn't get hurt by the crash. You froze, unaware of what to do. Calling out to a doctor, you watched Jimins little face. His chest slowly moving against yours as he breathed through his slightly parted lips. The doctors ran to help you. Lifting him up onto a ICU bed they speedily took him back to his room. You stood there. You knew you couldn't stay with him. You left the building, worrying immensely about him.
You got to the car and jumped in. You sat there staring at the wheel. You couldn't believe it. You took deep breaths as you realised what had just happened. You grabbed the wheel and began to drive home. Tears rolling down your cheeks. When you finally arrived home, you threw yourself across your bed. Wrapping your small legs around one of your pillows, you hugged it close to you.
The next morning you woke up to 3 new messages from Jimin. You changed the contact name and instantly replied.

You were so happy that Jimin was still messaging you. And that he was okay. You couldn't believe it was really him. He didn't seem to remember what had happened last night. You didn't want to tell him in fear of it being awkward between you both.
