"Why did you even skip breakfast? Are you sure you're okay? Nothing else hurts, right?" A worried Ni-ki asks after finding out that I was taken to the clinic, his hands were cupping my cheeks.
"I'm fine." I laughed at how cute he was.
"Where's Soohee?" He asks, starting to look around. She left a moment ago with Jay to who knows where. "I should thank her for taking you to the clinic."
"Actually, you should thank Leo. He also stayed as to not leave me bored all by myself." I smiled.
He froze for a moment before looking at me again, he raised an eyebrow. "Leo?"
I nod.
"Why Leo? You should have asked Soohee instead." His hands leaves my face as he leans back on the chair.
"Well, he insisted in taking me." I said. After seeing him roll his eyes, I realised that I shouldn't have told him that Leo brought me there. Saying that he stayed with me didn't make it any better either.
"I'm sorry." I said softly, taking his hands in mine. "But there's nothing to worry about."
Leo arrived just in time. He had his hands in his pockets with his hoodie over his head. Completely ignoring what I just said, Ni-ki took his hands off of mines and turned to face Leo.
"Hey, thank you for taking care of Luna." He says, forcing a smile.
"No problem." Leo replies as he took a seat.
"Just a question, why didn't you return to class after taking her to the clinic?"
"Because class is boring?" Leo replies with an 'obviously' tone. "Besides, it was quite fun talking to Luna."
In a panic, I waved my hand to catch Leo's attention. As he looked at me, I gestured zipping my mouth, quietly telling him to stop talking.
Ni-ki just sat there, frozen, emotionless. I couldn't tell wether he was mad or not. I couldn't even tell what he was thinking about at this point.
The bell rang, without saying anything he stood up. He even ignored Jay and Soohee who passed by him as they walk in.
Soohee looked at me, confused. "What happened?"
I groaned as I tug my hair tightly. "I messed up."
"Messed up? Why? What happened?" She looked at Leo who just shrugged at her then back at me.
"I messed up." I say once more.

"Looks like it's gonna rain later." Soohee mentions, looking out at the window. I looked out and saw dark clouds hovering around in the sky.
I sighed. "I didn't bring my umbrella."
"Let's just hope that the rain doesn't pour down before our class ends."
I humm in response. I wasn't in the mood to talk. The thought of Ni-ki possibly being mad at me keeps on bothering me. There's nothing wrong with Leo accompanying me, after all, we're just friends.
I started tracing little shapes on the table, still deep in thoughts. Should I apologise to Ni-ki? But what should I even apologise for? For Leo taking care of me? That doesn't even make any sense.
Another sigh left my mouth which caught Soohee's attention.
"Hey is there something wrong?"
"I don't know." I said, facing her. "I don't know anything at this point."
I pout, resting my face on my hands. "Should I apologise?"
"For what?"
I shrugged. "I honestly have no idea, I just feel like I should." I chuckled. I sound stupid.
I don't know what to apologise for exactly but I don't want to make Ni-ki mad. He might ignore me and I can't handle that.
"I'll apologise." I say, finally making up my mind.

Luck just wasn't on our side. Before our last period, heavy rain started puring down. I pout, knowing that I haven't brought an umbrella. The sun was shining brightly when I was on my way to school, I didn't expect that it's gonna rain.
"Well, guess who's gonna be stuck at school til' the rain stops." Soohee laughs lightly.
"Not us." Jay suddenly says beside us, getting our attention. "I have an umbrella." He says, placing an umbrella in front of us.
"That's my boy!" Soohee says smiling widely, fist bumping with Jay.
I scoffed. "Hello? What about me?" I pointed to myself.
Jay shrugs, taking the umbrella. "I only brought one, for me and Soohee."
"Wow I can sense the favouritism." I say, playfully rolling my eyes at him.
"Not my fault you didn't bring one." He simply says.
After our last period ended, Jay and Soohee went home together, leaving me and Leo. I left after a few minutes to look for Ni-ki, I need to talk to him before going.
His classmates informed me that he left not too long ago. I thanked them before leaving. He probably went home already.
I stood outside, watching as the rain falls down. It doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I sighed, looking down at my feet. Ni-ki went home without me. We would ways walk home together, or if he had to stay to practice for the dance club, he'd tell me beforehand.
I was knocked out of my thoughts when I saw a pair of feet beside me. It's Leo.
"You don't have an umbrella?" He asks which I nodded my head to. "Same." He smiles.
No one spoke after that. We just stood there in silence. Watching and listening to the rain.
"Hey." He says breaking the silence. He puts hid hoodie on top of my head. I didn't even notice him taking it off earlier. He ties the sleeves so that it won't fall of easily. I looked up at him, confused.
He just smiled at me before taking my hand. "Run."
He held my hand tightly so I had no choice but to run as well. From behind, I could see him smiling despite the fact that he was soaking wet from the rain. He left me at the bus station, his hoodie still with me.
"My house is close from here, just return my hoodie when you can." He says before running off.
I watched as he slowly disappeared from my sight. A part of me felt bad that he had to run through the rain while the other part felt thankful.
I sat down, waiting patiently for the bus to arrive. I'll probably return his hoodie tomorrow.
