ch5 ; skatepark

[SUNA RINTAROU's POV]

i did it. i made the move. i just asked her on a date to the skatepark. i don't think she really understands it's a date. but it's fine. i just want to spend time with her. i look pretty hot in my eyeliner and she's actually making me laugh. i'm so in love. damn, i really am down bad. please say yes, y/n. 

[Y/N's POV]

he really asked to go to the skatepark ? hell no. you start to panic and think of all the worst possible things that can happen. you can probably die there. you don't even know how to skate. but.. rin can teach you ? he will be there for you ? okay. you give in and agree to his request.

"sure. i wouldn't mind" you say with a smile.
"really ?!?!!?" he responds with a grin on his face, then hides his excitement away after realising how much of a little child he looked. cute.
"yes, rin. let's go"
you guys get up. it was now around 5:40pm so you decide to change into more comfortable clothes.

you let suna change in the guest bathroom since you notice he had spare clothes in his bag. probably from volleyball.
once you exit your bathroom you see suna on your couch with black jeans and his volleyball jersey. it looked.. hot.

"you look beautiful." he lets out while placing a small grin on his lips.
suna didn't seem like the blushing type, but right now he sure is. 

"you don't look too bad yourself, let's go." you smile while taking his hand and walking out your aparment. the two of you walk to the skatepark which was about an 8 minute walk. you remember your cousin going there with you one time. once you guys arrive at the park he takes two skateboards (a/n: let's say you can rent one for free), hands one to you and starts to do tricks.
"what the hell rin ? how do you do that !!"
he giggles at how amazed you are and takes your hands. he lifts you up and adjusts you to the skateboard. suddenly the warmth of his existence leaves you and you feel yourself moving. don't say he let- he let go. "RIN WTF COME BACK WHAT'S HAPPENING IM GONNA FALL!!"
he quickly runs up to you and holds your hand. suddenly it was much easier. he releases his hand after and you begin to skate away in amazement. "you're doing so well, y/n." he smiles, then grabs his skateboard, skating beside you. there were a few people staring at your noob skills but you didn't care. it started to get dark and it was now 8pm. you got off the skateboard and sit in the corner watching suna's skills. he was so talented. his eyes stood out more than anything else in the park. 

you see a girl with blonde curly hair walk up to suna and hug him. he hugs back with a smile which somehow hurts your heart. she was so pretty. how could suna like- wait no. he doesn't even like me. they look cute together anyways. you see them talk for a while and they walk up to you. 

"hey! i heard your suna's girlfriend! you're so pretty.. i'm yui!" she bows politely. 
"o-oh.. hi! i'm y/n.. but i'm not his-" 
suddenly suna holds your hand. 

"don't be shy bae" 

what ? what is even happening ? 

"ahhh ! you guys are the cutest ! by the way, i can assure you i'm not one of the fangirls trying to steal suna away. dating him or having feelings would be like totally ew. i'm his cousin! i'm from the girls volleyball team in nekoma!"
ah, nekoma. the school you were going to attend. but how do they know eachot-

"we met through this guy kuroo, she's dating him." suna replies as if he knew what you were thinking about. 

"ahh i see !" you bow to her in envy and you could sense a smile on her face.
"what's your insta ?" she asks
"it's totallynot.y/n" you reply with a smile.

she blushes and sends you a request.
"omg popular much you have so many followers!!" 
you slightly giggle and accept the request. 

"anyways guys, it's like 8:30 i better leave! i'll message you on insta, y/n!" she hugs you and was about to hug suna, but then she changes it to a small fist bump. she was so nice. so different from suna.

when yui leaves you were about to say something but you're caught by suna embracing you tightly. 

"suna what's this for ?" 

"for you." he releases his grip after a while and stands up.

"it's late, should we go ?" he asks
"yea, good idea." you reply

he offers his hand as you are still sitting down. you grab it and get up. the two of you begin to walk back home. you were still wondering why he told yui you were his girlfriend,  so you decide to break the silence.
"so um, rin?" 
he hummed in response
"why did you tell yui we are dating ?"

"oh. just to claim what's mine."
