Darius: Hey, Its been almost a year since we started being friends, I wanna meet up with you.
Velvet: Yeah, that seems cool! But my mom is *really* protective of me, so let's do it at my neighborhood park.
Darius: Mkay, just send me your location.
*Sends location*
Darius: Be there in a bit!

I'm kind of scared to see him. What if he is like a 40 year old man?! No.. I'm over thinking this. I trust him..
"Hey, you made it!", I said, seeing Darius walking up to the park.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world!"
"What do you wanna do?"

We kept meeting up. It was super fun! At one point, I decided to let him meet my mom. I was scared, but it was gonna happen at some point.
"So mom... this is Darius. Darius, meet my mom."
"Hello Darius."
"Um, hi.."

We became great friends. He would come over to play minecraft alot. But then, something changed. He wasn't his cheerful self. I decided to ask him about it.
"Hey, whats going on? You seem different."
"Nothings going on. God, your so annoying! Can't you just leave me alone?!"
Now that hurt.
"Sorry.."
I'm even more confused. Why was he so mean? Did I do something? I began to keep thinking, and soon enough, I was crying.
After I calmed down I decided to buy tickets for an upcoming move so that Darius and I could go see it. But, when I told him, all he said was.."WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! you know how much I HATE horror movies!!" It made me really sad. What if he hates me? Am I just unlikable? I don't have many friends..maybe there's a reason.
