Part 2- meeting

Y/n POV
It has been a whole week and I still can't believe I'm actually going to be in a movie this is a dream come true! Today is a scary day, I'm meeting the cast which I'm nervous for they have all been acting for a long time. What if they think I suck. What if they don't like me. What if I hold them back. All these thoughts running through my brain started to give me anxiety so I closed my eyes and took three big breathes. Everything will be fine.
~time skip~
I walk into the set my mouth dropped and suddenly a man ran up with me followed by a blonde woman. I instantly recognized them as John and Emily. "Hello my name is John and yours is if I remember correctly y/n" "hey so nice to meet you! And yes y/n"I say with a laugh "and I'm Emily we have all been so excited to meet you" she says with a warm smile "I have been really nervous to come here, you guys already made me feel so much better" I say " awe I'm glad" Emily says bringing me into hug. "Millie and Noah are in the other room just follow me" John says as he walks away i start to follow him and so does Emily. I walk in and meet millies eyes she smiles waves and signs but I don't know sign language so I don't know what she's saying, John must have seen the confused look on my face since he started to translate he then translated to Millie for me. Then Noah walked up to me my heart skipped a beat. If you think he's gorgeous in pictures you should see him in person. "Hello my names Noah So nice to finally see the girl who's playing Isabella" he says in his beautiful British accent while reaching out his hand for me to shake. I shake his hand and stumble over my words "h-hello so good to meet you I'm a big fan of your work-of all your guys work" I correct myself while looking around the room at everyone. I'm so awkward I was blushing the whole time I was talking to them (specifically Noah) I couldn't stop fiddling with the rings on my fingers it's a thing I do when I'm nervous. "Well filming starts in two weeks in that time we need to teach you how to sign" John says pointing at me "hopefully I catch on quickly then" I add making everyone laugh. That felt good. "Me and Millie can teach her it shouldn't be too hard" Noah says making me smile instantly. " alright perfect, we also need to get the script to you everyone else has theirs, don't worry it's nothing much to memorize there isn't a lot of lines." John adds "alrighty sounds good I say. I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket I take it out and see my moms calling me "oh my moms calling I'm sorry I have to take this" I say walking out of the room hearing them say "ok" in the distance. "Hello, mom what do you need? Everything ok?" I start "yes I just need to pick you up now something has come up" she says "oh? Ok....Umm I guess I will tell them I'm leaving bye" "bye love you" but before I can say it back she hangs up. I walk back in with a puzzled look on my face "everything alright honey?" Emily says "yea yea I think so my mom says she needs to pick me up early something has come up she won't tell me what though" I reply "oh well that's perfectly fine we were pretty much done anyway but before you go here" John says handing me my script "lovely to meet you all" I say waving they all reply and we say goodbye. I walk outside and get in my moms car "what's wrong" I ask "I didn't want to tell you over the phone but grandpa tucker has passed away he had a massive heart attack" she says her eyes filling with tears as she pulls out of the parking lot. I start to sob this was so unexpected. When we got home I ran up to my room and changed into sweatpants and a sweatshirt flopped on my bed and cried some more. I cried myself to sleep and woke up at 4 am. I checked my phone since I wasn't going to be able to fall back asleep, I saw a bunch of messages I had missed. Looks like there's a quiet place ll chat I was added too.

Man I feel bad i kept them waiting I guess I can let them know now.

They are all still most likely sleeping. I put my phone down and tried to sleep some more but my body wouldn't let me. I opened tik tok and scrolled through for about two hours till I fell asleep again. I woke up to my mom shaking me awake. "Honey it's 12 pm why are you still sleeping?" "Sorry I didn't sleep well last night" I say "it's ok I didn't either sweetie" she says kissing my forehead and walked out of my room. I checked my phone and saw more messages from the groupchat

John: I was thinking meeting at set 11:30 work?
Millie: yup works for me :)
Noah: should be able to make it!

Shit Im a half our late. I jump out of bed throw my hair in a messy bun and change into shorts still wearing the same sweatshirt. I run downstairs and yell for my mom to get in the car. She runs outside panicked and gets in the car asking "why what's wrong what are we doing" "I'm late for set!" I yell "oh no" she speeds to set. We get there at 12:20 since my mom went 20 over the speed limit (don't do that kids) I run into set out of breathe probably looking a mess. "HELLO I'm here I'm so sorry for being late!" I yell running into the room we met in yesterday, their heads all turn to face me and their eyes widen.
