New chapter & happy 11 years of One Direction!!!The song for this chapter is best song ever, this song always gets me hyped up, and if they played it at clubs I would definitely go! *Casey's POV*

I felt Ash nudge me as soon as her eyes landed on Niall, she was a big fan of his. Shit. 

"Hi, how are you?" She finally spoke as she greeted her boss. "This is my friend Casey."

"Nice to meet you." Her boss extended his hand and I shook it. 

"Nice to meet you too." I trained my eyes on him, not even acknowledging Niall. 

"And this is my friend, Niall." Now I had to look at him. I was silently praying that he wouldn't divulge that we already knew each other. That would make things awkward to say the least. He started to extend his hand to greet us, but Ashley lunged forward and hugged him. I mean, if I were a fan, I'd do the same thing as well, so I don't blame her. 

"I'm Ashley, hi." I heard her tell him.

"Nice to meet you Ashley." He replied as she let go of him. And now it was my turn to say hi. I didn't feel like hugging him in front of a crowd, but he opened his arms for me, so there was no getting out of it. And then I was hugging him. "So nice to meet you as well." He spoke loud enough so that Ash and her boss could hear.

"You too." I smiled at him, a genuine smile this time, because my prayers had been answered, he hadn't told everyone that we knew each other. I mouthed a small 'Thank you' so that only he could see, and he gave me a smiling nod in return. 

Ash had positioned herself between Niall and me, and I couldn't help but noticing that she kept trying to flirt with Niall. I was getting a tiny bit jealous, I mean, he's my exboyfriend and now my fuck buddy. I have a right to be jealous. Niall kept brushing her off, he's not that mean, he wouldn't start flirting with my best friend in front of me. Ghosting me after getting through to the X Factor? Yes, but this, even he had his limits.

"I'm going to the bathroom." 

"Do you want me to come with you?" I asked her, because to be honest, I didn't want to be left alone with Niall, since the rest of the table were in their own little world.

"No, it's okay. Talk to Niall, I don't want to leave him alone. My boss is totally ignoring him."

"Okay." I spoke through my teeth. 

"I suppose you didn't tell her that we know each other?" I suddenly heard his voice in my ear and it sent a shiver down my spine. He had caught me off guard. 

"No, and I intend for it to stay that way. Thank you."

"Isn't she your friend?"

"She's my best friend. But it's not like I was going to tell her that I dated you when we were kids, and that then you ditched me to audition and ghosted me as soon as you got through. I would sound like such a loser"

"You're not a loser, and I didn't ditch you."

"Potato, potato." He still had auditioned without me, so what's the difference?
