ps: my thoughts could be tagalog or English because in this story i can understand Filipino but I can't speak the language.
i saw them smiled widely showing their expressions that they are so proud of me.
" Grabe ka girl! wasak ang eardrums ko sa sigawan ng mga tao nung lumabas ka!" mikylla yelled while i was walking right through them
i laughed. It's true, they're very lovely i could hear them all day.
" pano ba naman kasi! tignan mo nga ganda² ng baby na yan" marianna also joined teasing me.
" shhh nahihiya akoo". i said to them while making the shy posture look.
they all laughed because that's the Filipino line they taught me to say when I'm shy.
but then coach came
" oh? ready na ba u all? we gon make dis game a very successful debut para sa ating baby gorl". Coach neena said with the conyo accent.
we all laugh because she always says words like that, like she's very maarte
pero deep inside she isn't naman.
Then the last thing we know were shaking hands with our opposing teams.
The game is starting and i am the first one to be seving the ball.
we got our positions ready
i am now holding the ball and taking a deep breath
think of this as your first serve so that you'll give your all mia.
The referee whistled.
1....2.....3... hit
I had it.
my first serve as a player of DLSU
all of the fans cheered seeing my aggressive and flawless hit.
I smiled. Im proud of me too :3
things happened fast
the blue team served the ball very strong and my teammates were shouting my name to make the recieve.
i run through it and the gave them a hard spike which they missed.
I did it!
The things that most people said i was best at.
spiking.
The people were cheering so hard which made me smiled and looked at one of the benches.

one thing for sure, we will win this game and i will prove myself as a strong player.
after a moment of serving and spiking we finally won our first game in the season.
we all jumped in so much happiness and excitement.
winning this game is where my opportunity starts, i will be knowned and i will make impact.
my dream finally came true.
this was the thing i wanted.
i even begged and pleaded them for me to be able to play.
i never knew that people would be fighting over me for my flawless plays.
mom and paps made their decision right.
