Chapter 12

After I got ready I headed to the location. We were going to the café just a couple blocks over from where I lived.

As I started walking to the café I got a text so I pulled out my phone to see who it was from.

Ranboo: Hey, I'm at the café. You almost here?

Y/n: Yeah, I just have to cross a couple more streets and I will be there.

Ranboo: Okay see you in a little bit.

———end of messages———

As I was about to cross a street I looked both ways like a responsible person. But as I start to cross the street a car comes out of nowhere. The next thing I know I'm passing out and a bunch of people are surrounding me. The last face I saw before passing out was Ranboo's.

I was sitting outside of the café when I saw Y/n crossing the street as a car comes out of nowhere.

"Y/n stay awake ok? Just stay awake for me at least," I pleaded with her.

She started to pass out as I grabbed her phone and called Phil because I saw someone already calling for the ambulance.

Phil: Hello, Y/n what do you need. I knew that you had probably forgotten something at home.

Ranboo: Hey sorry this isn't Y/n. This is her friend Ranboo. Um so I was sitting outside the café for her and when I looked up she was hit by a car. Someone already called for an ambulance.

I started talking really fast and breathing heavily as I was stressed out and in a panic.

Phil: Oh my god! Okay just try to keep your breathing level and I will be there in a couple of seconds. Do you want me to stay on the phone or do you think that you will be fine?

Ranboo: Please don't hang up.

I started to cry and my voice started getting weak. She was one of my best friends and it's hard to just stay calm when you just watched your best friend get hit by an f-ing car.

Phil: I'm here I see all the people. I'm going to hang up but I'll be right there. Okay?

Ranboo: Okay.

"Hey, get away from my sister!" I heard someone yell.

I looked up and it was one of Y/n's brothers, I think Techno was his name. She always said that techno was overprotective of her.

"Techno calm down he's helping her he is one of her friends!" I heard Phil shout.

As Phil and Techno came to Y/n and I's side I heard the sirens of the ambulance.

"Hey, can you please let go of the girl sir," said a calm voice as if they did this every day.

"Fine just please take care of her and don't hurt her," I said just barely above a whisper.

"She will be in amazing hands I promise. If it's okay with the family I'm sure that you will be able to visit her in the hospital," she said as she took Y/n from me and had others help put her on a stretcher and wheel her into the ambulance as Phil also got in.

"Hey, do you want me to drive you home?" I heard Techno ask beside me. I just nodded my head.

"Okay, come on," he says as we start walking to the car. Once we get in the car he hands me the Aux cord so I start playing Lemon Demon as he drives me home.

Once we got to my house I thanked Techno for the ride and went inside.

"Hey Boo how was the café?" I heard my mom ask me as she uses one of my many names around the family.

"I don't want to talk about right now I'll be in my room if you need me," I stated as I started walking up the stairs.

"Hey, Ranboo can you help me with something?" My dad asked me making me mad that people weren't just leaving me alone.

"NO OKAY IS IT TOO HARD TO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE AND LET ME JUST GO TO MY ROOM UNTIL I JUST DIE OR SOMETHING," I exploded.

I stormed to my room and slammed my door shut.

'Why did she have to get hit? Anyone in the whole world and it was her.' I started overthinking so I decided just to relax and try to take a nap.
