4. Blonde cupid

Naruto has been bothered all week. And the thing is he knows what's bothering him. "Sasuke Uchiha"

The two had always been very different. From when they met in middle school, until now. Sasuke is blunt, gloomy, and pessimistic. But was and is popular with his classmates.

While Naruto is Bright, optimistic, and forgiving. Growing up he wasn't very popular with his peers. It wasn't anything he did per say. Some stupid rumors started to spread and soon all of his friends left him.

Over the years the rumors were either forgotten, or people realized they were fake. As soon as they did all of Naruto's once cold classmates were now acting buddy buddy with him. They all acted as if they hadn't made his last year in middle school hell.

Naruto is nice to them, but he Doesn't consider most of them his actual friends. Not anymore. It's not like none of them stayed by his side, his close friends did. One of those friends was Sasuke. Despite all of his characters traits, or flaws depending how you looked at them.

Sasuke never believed any of the bs, mostly because he thought and still does think naruto's a twink. But that's beside the point.

Naruto has always disliked one thing about him. The way he treated people. Naruto always knew he didn't mean too much harm. He was just blunt, and kinda 'venomous'. And he was most 'venomous' to his "fan girls". ( At least that's what Naruto was calling them )

That's why he was so surprised to see Sasuke with Sakura, he had to do a double take to make sure he wasn't dreaming. Sakura had been going to school with them ever since grade school. That's why he was determined to figure out exactly what was going on.

"Hinata?" He asks, as he looked over to his girlfriend. They were in the back corner of the library, working on a school project.

"Yes?" She responded back, while looking up. "Do you know a girl named "Sakura"? She's been our classmates for a while." He asked.

"Sakura - Chan? Yeah we're in a couple of classes together. "

Why?" She askes .

"Well, I was wondering, if you knew if she likes Sasuke." He says, while scratching the back of his head. Even he could tell it was a long shot, but if he asked Sakura directly he knew Sasuke would some how be able to figure it out.

And Naruto felt a little to young to die at the hands of Sasuke.

"Oh your friend? I don't think so but don't bet too much on my work, we're not very close." She says, her brows slightly creased, as if she was thinking if her classmate had said anything.

"Alright, I'll have to ask her myself." Naruto says in a shaking tone, silently hyping himself up.

"When did you start meddling in Sasuke - Kuns love life?" She askes, a soft bit of laughter, following the question.

"Someone has to make sure he doesn't end up alone." Naruto says, with a straight face. He stretches his arms behind his head and slyly raps it around Hinata.

"Sakura - Chan!" Naruto's voice echos through the hallway. He had just spotted a certain pink haired girl. She whips around fast, looking to see who was calling her.

"Whew sorry, I just needed to talk to you." He says, rubbing the back of his head.

"What do you need?" She asks. She immediately recognized the blonde, as Sasukes one and only friend.

Naruto.

"It's about Sasuke." He says, which makes her cheeks flush slightly.

"W-What about him?" She asks, gaining some composure.

"Well, I was wondering.. do you like him?" Naruto asks, deciding it'd be better to get right to the point.

As if in a comic or anime, Sakura starts to feel her face heat up. She finally settles on a nice shade of scarlet.

"So.. I'll take that as a yes." Naruto says, a little shocked, but offers a small smile.
