-Prologue-
I couldn't take it anymore. The beatings got worse everyday. It started with a couple slaps across the face. Now, its mounted up to full force punches, kicks, sometimes even a belt across the back. I get these beating for a pathetic reason. My dad blames me for my brother's and mothers death. My mom died when my little brother Toby was born. I never touched either of them, but, that tragic story can be saved for another time.
So, i'm Kara. Beaten, Abused, and still living with my parent. Well i kinda have to. I'm only 17. I wasn't like anyone in my family. They wore normal t-shirts, i wear band merch. They listen to Country, i listen to Rock n' Roll or Metal. Its my average life. I live with my preppy, popular sister and my 'cool' older brother. My dad valued them both. While i was ignored and used as a maid. But my new lif would start as soon as i went out that door..
Only a single thought ran through my mind as i did so.
