The travel to Orion wasn't too long. Thus, They took some time in the middle of their journey to take short breaks.

After a day, they finally arrived at the town of Orion.

The town was modern and looked very city-like.

It was designed in a very different manner as well due to the cultures of the neighbouring country, Lithen.

The town was vibrant with many people coming and going. It was the place to go for people who wish to cross the borders and travel.

Not only was it easier to move across countries, they couldalso enjoy the beautiful scenery of strong waves crashing into large rocks. Breezy wind could be felt everywhere around this place.

It was a city that gave people life. Very different from the peaceful and tranquil Vivida.

People roamed freely in this place. Everywhere you looked, you would see an adventurer or a mage or two.

The marketplaces sold a variety of goods. From magical items to commonplace groceries.

Though, to find a magical item with good quality here was still unlikely.

Dion's mission here was to observe the town and find as many clues as possible without alerting the governor of his presence. Or at least, before the governor notices him.

Dion had dispersed with his group midway to look less suspicious entering the town.

They had planned for 4 men to enter the town at seperate times to avoid suspicion.

Dion being the leader of the group went in first. He wore his old adventurers clothing and went through the gates.

He swiftly slipped past the guards by hiding behind other adventurers to avoid being recorded into the list of people that entered the town.

Eventually, he reached the heart of the town, the marketplace.

"Hey there young man! Interested in magic? I have every item you'd need."

"FRUITS ON SALE AT HALF ITS ORIGINAL PRICE!"

"Its a one in a lifetime deal! Come over to Alan's for a spicy deal!"

The sounds of advertising resounded everywhere in this place. As someone who had lived in a town as quiet as Vivida, despite being somewhat used to crowds. This was still living hell for Dion.

"I've really gotten old.."

Dion shook his head and sighed.

In his prime, crowds like these were nothing to him. But now, mere sounds could easily give him a headache.

After some time, Dion finally found a suitable inn to scout out the town.

He contacted the others through an undetectable string of mana and informed them as he had planned in the beginning.

If they managed to find a way to settle down and scout. They were to send a pulse of mana. If they were in danger or had found something significant, they were to send two pulses.

Dion unpacked his bags and began his preparations.

The mission would begin the instant the clock struck 12. He would have to begin placing down recording devices in crucial places, including the governor's own estate.

Not too long after, the clock struck 12. It was time for him to begin the operation.

He put on black garments and embedded them with magic to make him seem invisible.
