Tucked neatly away in the center of the West Country was Godric's Hollow. It was a small village that, unbeknownst to the muggles that resided there, radiated magic.
What the muggles also didn't know was that it was a very, very important place to the wizarding world.
There resided the story of the potters. The story of the Potters was the epitome of tragedy. On Halloween of 1981, the infamous Dark wizard Voldemort had arrived at their house. He had killed the wandless and defenseless James first, who insisted that his wife took their only child{Harry} up into the bedroom for protection whilst he tried in vain to stall the evil Dark Lord, Lord Voldemort – this was essential, for young Harry Potter was the reason why Voldemort was there in the first place. With a brutal Avada Kedavra, James Potter was dead before his body even hit the ground.
Upstairs and through the second door on the right, his beloved wife Lily placed their son in his crib and prepared herself to fight, not knowing of her husband's demise, solely focused on protecting their flesh and blood behind her. With ease, Voldemort blasted the bedroom door down and had his wand raised directly at her.
Lily potter died next.
Their son Harry was the only person in the wizarding world to sustain and survive the killing curse which was after all one of the 3 unforgivable curses.
Thus, within the space of five minutes, Godric's Hollow's fame grew a tenfold. It was known now as the birthplace of Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived, the place of utmost devastation where Lily and James Potter had heroically lost their lives and ultimately as the place where the Dark Lord had fallen at last.
It was at precisely twenty-three past eight on the crisp summer evening of 20 that Lily and James Potter woke with a start. James gazed up at the ceiling of the box he was laid in, feeling very claustrophobic as it appeared to be mere inches away from his face.
He blast the door open with a swift reducto right after finding his own wand on his chest and looked around.'I will kill Sirius and Remus if I find out that this is a prank...'
Just then something caught his eye. No not the weird gate of the cemetery. Not the other coffins nearby and definitely not the church.
It was a gravestone. A gravestone that read
Lily pov
I wake up in what looks to be a coffin, I then hear an extremely loudbang coming from maybe a few feet from my right. I feel around withmy hand and locate my wand which I point up and a blast of the lid. When Iremove my hand from my face I see a familiar face looking down at me"JAMES!!" I yell "what are we doing, we've been buried I think"
Just then something pops into my mind. "Harry," I scream.
"WHat? Where is he? Is he ok? Lily, what happened?" James fusses.
A slight pop interrupted our confused thoughts. We saw a tall man walking towards us. He was tall and slightly plump yet looked handsome from far off.
As he came close I saw James jump in front of me and draw out his wand.
Neville pov
As I apparated I saw a man and woman looking worried. As it was the night I could only see the dark figures but I prayed that they were one of the people that returned.
Just then they both turned and the man-looking figure jumped in front of the woman figure and raised his wand.
Not wanting to cause havoc I shouted "It's ok. I won't hurt you" I said as I moved forward. I saw the man Relax the grip on his wand but he held it in its position. As I reached him i decided to introduce myself. I said
"Hello, I'm Neville longbottom. I'm here to check your identities and get you safely to the ministry."
The man replied"firstly why are you giving out your name in theses times and secondly do you mean longbottom as in alive and Frank longbottom?"
