Stolas pov

( four weeks pass )

After i hear about Stella planning for me to get assassinated,i spend more time with Y/n
At least i won't get found in my old room because Stella doesn't even know it exists
"So why are staring at me birdbrain?"
She asked while holding the book i gave her to read

"Your so intriguing to watch my dear."

She rolls her eyes,i shrug it off and lean over her to read with her,she kept moving away but stopped after realizing that I wasn't gonna stop reading with her

"So prides and prejudices what chapter are you on."

I ask her since i only read over her shoulder

"Im on chapter five."

With that she goes back to reading,i find it odd she has always known how to breathe mean while i who was born down here have never have had to breathe

"Do you mind if i read with you?"

She shrugs while staring at the book,i sit next to her with my arm wrapped around her shoulder reading closely, i nuzzle her shoulder making her take a shakey breath

"Could you not?"

She says quietly, taking her eyes off the book for once, i smile and pick her up putting her on my lap, she squirms to get off but i don't let her

"See now owling I'm not that bad."

I smile at her and coo lightly
She is still a little distend even when i put her on my lap

"Well owling sorry to cut this short but i got something to deal with."

I got up and went out the door, then started transforming into my dark shadow like bird form that i used to save Loona,Blitzo,Millie,and Moxxie from the human government a few days ago i went back in but carefully so Y/n doesn't see me

Striker's pov oh yeah this guys coming into the story anyway warning blood

I carefully wander around the castle so find Stolas like Stella told damn why did i have to agree to do this my life is on the line but i need the money, smell something off like human, i look at the direction this new sent is coming from and follow

"The hell?"

The smell ends behind a door, i kick it open seeing a h/l ( hair length )
And h/c (hair color )girl g/or not ( aka glasses or not)

I smirk sneaking around the room,i watch her look around probably only a little aware of me being here

"Is someone there?"

She asks looks back where i am then screams back up falling off the bed

"Don't think you can get away, the funs just started miss."

I quickly run up to her, snaking my tail around her neck making her look up at me,i smirk and pierce her with my clawed hand, she whimpers lightly

"Now don't you know not to touch whats mine?

We both look around to see the owner of the terrifying voice,we then look near the window seeing a large shadow with red eyes in the shape of a bird

Everything goes black and i can't move

"W w what?"

I stutter out, looking at the now stone snake like demon and back at Stolas who looks normal again

"I couldn't let him hurt you owling now lets patch up those cuts."

He lightly touched the small cuts,i wince at the feeling, he quickly grabs a few bandages from the drawer and sticks it on my face
