A metallic tapping noise reverberated from the entry hallway. Y/n, who was lazily lying on her bed covered herself hearing those footsteps coming towards her room.
Suddenly, the door slammed as he barged into her room. Kokonoi took a glance at her and sighed after seeing y/n hiding inside a blanket. "Y/n, cut the crap I have something to say"
Y/n immediately did what she was told as she raised one of her eyebrows. "What is it?" she asked.
"You know something, didn't you? About my affiliation to the syndicate" Kokonoi muttered with a straight face.
Y/n looked at him with such a face, "So?"
"It's not like I could mess with you all despite knowing the fact you did to everyone, even my parents" she added.
A shock could be seen on his face after hearing those words, kokonoi slightly giggled as he felt assurance that y/n wouldn't go against the organization. He walked towards her and sat beside her.
"So, the thing is... I need you to accompany me to the reception later this evening" he responded.
"Accompany you? But why?" she asked back with a little confusion on her face.
