Again the same unbearable sound - the sound of the alarm - at 7:30 in the morning, it's horrible, so I'm forced to turn it off because it drives me crazy because it sounds like a damn purge alarm. I hate going to school but I still get up even though my eyes are a bit glued shut and I have no other choice, I'm wearing fleece pyjamas because it's so cold, even in Antarctica it's warmer. Finally I take a shower and put on my school uniform which is gold and white (which brings out the colour of my black hair and my emerald green eyes), today it's time to put on my quadrille skirt, my white blouse with black buttons and my blazer.

After a few minutes of getting ready I leave my room and look for Emma, my mum, but I can't find her but I see my dad preparing breakfast for me (I love him very much as my mum is hardly present) and after 5 minutes he has made me a loaf of bread and egg.

-Good morning Raina," says my father.

-Good morning - I answer without encouragement, have you seen my mum? I've been looking for her but it seems she's not here.

-Rai, your mum went to work (she works in the octagon, I'll explain later what it is) and why are you so discouraged? -I ask him, and he answers: "Because today you're going on a field trip to the Bellum central building. Obviously I forgot :/ (as usual) in the next five seconds I jump with excitement because you only go on a tour once in your life and that's when you're in eleventh grade so you have to make the most of the experience. In Bellum they only let us see the route that the bus takes to get to school because the government implemented this law and it was the idea of the famous Hecates Black - president of Bellum, my mum loves her, for her she is a symbol to follow but my father, on the contrary, hates her because he thinks she is a dictator... but well, nothing to do about it.

In every street there are security guards in case of any inconvenience and outside our homes we must comply with the following 10 rules:

1. Do not speak ill of the president

2. Do not eat outside your homes

3. Do not go to places other than those set up by the government.

4. Do not resist the guards

5. The guards are allowed to use any method to control the inhabitants of Bellum.

6. Do not talk politics in the street

7. No resistance to what is taught to pupils in schools.

8. All adults should have at least one child (male or female).

9. Children are not allowed to be absent from school.

10. Comply with all the above rules

Bellum is like a technologically advanced city as most people have money, there is a central square which is what we see every day and most people work from home, but at night Bellum was a different place because there were bright coloured lights and it was like being in another world (I live in a building) and I am on the 18th floor so you can see the lights and when I can't fall asleep I go to a window and watch the atmosphere until I fall asleep.
