Thirty Decades after a pandemic ( Shory Story)

It's been thirty decades since the world's biggest global pandemic and recession. A lot of things have changed. In particular, a lot! At the age of 13 years old, I experienced my first ever pandemic in the year of 2020. It was a normal but yet quiet day at school. On March 13th 2020 the traumatizing and devastating disaster began. I remembered I was in social studies class when the news came tumbling into my ears, that My very own island in the Caribbean called Antigua had recorded its first coronavirus case. I must say things have changed over the period of time.
I am a forty five-year-old man with two kids who know nothing about the horrible days of wearing a mask twenty-four, seven. Who knew that wearing a mask as a style would turn into a mandatory law. In today's futuristic and modern society, I am a Director of the Walt Disney's Franchise. The use of cameras were immediately tossed out the window, ever since drones and robots with cameras were invented. Here in the Caribbean on the island of Antigua things,
have significantly improved from driving on roads to flying in the sky with the brand-new Lamborghini flying car SRX. Phones were officially not tangible and were now holographic. The apple phone company ran out of business without a doubt, nobody was interested in tangible phones. Samsung, Blu and Nokia were the only phone companies serving the tangible phone competition because their prices were unbeatable unlike Apple's. Houses were now floating under a blue blooming futuristic light. Plane companies ran straight out of business because flying from country to country was limitless, but they had certain protocols like being vaccinated and there was a censor in the flying car that would have all of your data for traveling. Human beings were being updated like if they were a software system. Chips were placed into everyone to track and gain data from them. These chips have information on them including travel history and criminal records to help identify or recognize the individual. Schools upgraded from paper books made from tree trunks to holographic exercise and textbooks that allowed students to communicate nonverbally, eliminating less interaction with students that allowed them to think and understand work on their own. Classrooms were now in a permeable beam that allowed students and teachers to enter via face recognition. Furniture like tables and desks were replaced with floating chairs and floating desks that had different modes of comfort and sensation to meet each pupil's satisfaction. Supermarkets were the best upgrades, cashiers were no longer needed at all because as you left the supermarket the money from your bank card would be deducted immediately. Goods on shelves were eliminated and only holographic monitors with goods were necessary for choosing your items, then they would be delivered by the biggest AI intelligence robot Amazon Alexa.
A bunch of these were installed to help human intelligence with any needs they desired. In terms of sports and outdoor activities, these manual activities were canceled out of the modern society because of new technologies that have been in place. Ever since these machines have been in place, competitions and championships were not the same; these machines allowed athletes and sports teams to equip and attach their bodies with mechanical mechanisms, movements and capabilities to help them win games automatically. Let me tell you, I was very amazed by the development of these modernized things made by Man - Kind. Summer had changed because carnival was no longer hosted by the committee due to everyone's lack of support and enthusiasm. The VR set took over carnival and outside activities. A VR set is an impressive machine that allows human beings to be at events from their home  through looking into goggles like glasses. Eating and drinking, however, are still at their peak of being modernized in such a way. Lastly, in today's world, you would be shocked that Wi-Fi doesn't exist due to a new internet power source called 12G Power. 12G power download speeds are incredible. The download speed is so fast that man kind hasn't invented a name for it. All I can tell you is that it moves way faster than a second. This galactic invention is powered by holographic pixels. The world has changed now and extremely developed over a quiet period of time but to be honest I like things back then because they were manual, but everything happens for a reason and change is good.
