Harry POV
"I'm going to get food right now dad, calm down." I said to my dad on the phone. "Sure son whatever just get your ass home" he slurred.
Ever since my mom was killed in a hit and run my dad's life has plummeted. He has become a really bad alcoholic. I come home everyday and he's drunk off his ass. I've tried to keep people from coming to my house, because there are beer bottles everywhere and it's so embarrassing. We moved here to get away from the place she was killed, it was just too hard to bear living there. I wasn't exactly excited to move here, I mean leaving everyone I know is difficult but it's something that I'll have to get used to I guess. We have been here for about a week and I was shocked when I was the talk of the school on my first day. I was practically attacked by Nikki, who apparently is the most popular girl in school, she refused to leave me alone and after about the fourth time of her asking me to be her boyfriend I said yes. Don't get me wrong she is a pretty girl but i know nothing about her, it just doesn't feel right.
As I'm driving around the town to look for something to take home. I realize that there is pretty much nothing around here. So I had no choice but to go to the only place I could find that looked decent, Chick-Fil-a. Once I step inside I could tell that it would be a while till I got my food but I didn't really care just as long as I can get it. After about 5 minutes of waiting in line it was my turn to order. "How can I get you today?" The very familiar guy asked me. "Hi yes can I get a number 2 with a umm a sweet tea please."
Louis POV
Looking up I realized where that sweet voice was coming from. "So you would like a spicy Chicken sandwich and a sweet tea?" I asked. "Yes please." He responded. "Alright it will be about twenty minutes sir we are a bit short handed today I'm sorry." I told him. "Ya that's fine, Hey aren't you the kid in my math class that sits behind me?" Wow I'm surprised that he even new I existed. "Mmhm Ya That's me, your food will be right out sir." I reminded him. As he was going to find a seat he stopped and turned around to tell me something. " And hey don't call me sir, call me Harry." "Oh Ya of course, Harry." He smiled at me and turned around to find a seat.
Harry POV
Sitting down at one of the tables, I decided to try and finish my trigonometry homework for tonight. I don't think I can express to anyone how much I hate math, I'm okay at some parts but when it comes to trigonometry i could kill someone. It just makes absolutely no sense to me. Why do we even need to learn it? I can't think of any times later in my life that I would ever need this. "Okay number one." I whispered to myself. "Using your calculator find the si-" "Hey Harry sorry for the wait here's your food" someone interrupted me, looking up I see that guy Louis from Mr.Smith's class holding my food. "Oh thank you Louis and don't worry about the wait I don't mind." I told him. "Great so what are you working on there?" He asked me. "Im doing our homework from Mr. Smith, well at least I'm trying to" I laughed slightly. "I'm really bad at it." I added.
