Marinette: pov
I'm so tired, this week there has been three akumas and it's only Tuesday. "MARINETTE!" Tiki yells.
"please five more minutes, I only was able to go to sleep an hour ago." I mumble.
Tiki sighs "I know Marinette but you have to go to school and you have to be on time miss. bustier said if you were late again you would get a detention and what if an akuma happens!"
I groan and rub my eyes to try and wake up. why is everything so brutal right now? I don't even want to go to school everyone is so caught up in Lila's lies. I rush to get dress and check the time and I'm doing good, I might actually be able to eat breakfast today! I grab my bag and head downstairs and grab a croissant and I'm out the door.
I make it to class on time! Great everyone is fawning over Lila again- I was startled out of my thoughts, someone poked me I turn and see ADRIEN! "Ummm hi Adrien are you how- I mean how are you- I mean God I'm sorry I haven't slept good all week." I stammer out.
He chuckled, "It's okay Mari, I just wanted to make sure your alright, you have seemed more tired recently."
I blush Adrien thought about me!!! I was about to say something back but I was cut off by crocodile tears Lila
Said brunette cried "you guys it was so horrible Marinette threatened me on the way to school today saying "I'm good for nothing and I should kill myself.""
The class grouped up around the brunette and shared their "it's okay!" And "we want you here" once done they turned to Marinette wanting to yell.
Alya started "MARINETTE HOW COULD YOU GIRL, I DIDN'T THINK YOU WERE LIKE THAT!"
Several classmates agreed with a hum. I want to disappear! Lila told me all of those things yesterday in the bathroom. I start looking around the room to see people on my side and to only find Adrien, tears start to form in my eyes, I clench my fists. I cried " I'm not like that! That never happened Lila is lying-" I get cut off with a slap to the face. I open my eyes to see it was Alya. I put my hand to the slap mark, it was warm. I picked up my bag and ran out of the room. Little did I know a certain blonde had something to say about this. Adrien yelled "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ALYA!" Everyone turned to the blonde in shock he never swore.
Alya said "SHE DESERVED IT SHE TOLD LILA TO KILL HERSELF AND MARINETTE HAS BEEN RUDE TO LILA SINCE DAY ONE!" Adrien rubbed his forehead why was he so stupid with the whole
"HiGh RoAd" crap.
Adrien sighed "I've known since day one that Lila was lying I didn't say anything because I thought she just wanted to fit in and it wasn't hurting anyone! But this is too far Marinette did nothing wrong!" Everyone gasped even Lila who was planning out her next move. Alya started to cry "why didn't I believe her, she's my best friend and I left her behind in the dark!" She fell to her knees. A purple little butterfly flew into the room and landed in Alya's glasses.
Besides everything that has happened Adrien yelled "c'mon Alya you can fight it!" Everyone else followed suit. . . It was for nothing Alya was turned in an akuma.
"Hello lady truth, it is I hawkmoth and I will grant you to power to have everyone tell you the truth and how they are truly feeling. In return I need ladybug and chat noir miraculouses." Said a mysterious voice.
"Yes hawkmoth!" Replied lady truth.

Back with Marinette.
I ran into the bathroom and threw my bag on the floor. A little whine could be heard from the bag. "Sorry Tiki!" I cry.
"It's okay Marinette! I know you didn't mean it." Crash I roll my eyes. "Really?! Already another Akuma! Can hawkmoth take a break!" I sigh. Tiki giggles. "TIKI SPOTS ON!"

In the fight
I swing into the fight to see chat noir get hit to the ground. "CHAT!" I yelled and ran to his side. The Akuma started walking over to us and I started swing my yoyo to block. I look down at chat and his eyes shoot open to a blinding white, he sits up and looks towards to Akuma. The Akuma says "Chat noir tell me the truth how are you feeling right now?" I'm so confused I don't know anything about this Akuma
Chat noir replies "I am pissed off that people who claimed to be Marinette's friends would turn on her so quickly." Chats eyes go back to normal and he looks around confused. So she makes people say how they are truly feeling but where is the Akuma hidden! And how does chat know about that! I am taken out of my thoughts when chat yells "LADYBUG WATCH OUT!" I turn my head towards the Akuma and I get shot with a beam that came out of her glasses. "Ladybug how are you truly feeling?" The Akuma asked. Before I can stop myself I'm already talking "I'm so insecure, I think that I'll die before I drink and I'm so caught up in the news of who likes me and who hates you, and I'm so tired that I might quit my job, start a new life
And they'd all be so disappointed 'Cause who am I, if not exploited." The Akuma laughs she is broadcasting this to all of Paris. "Please stop this!" I yell. The Akuma says "continue ladybug." I'm trying my best to keep my mouth shut but I can't, I continue "And I'm so sick of 17 Where's my fucking teenage dream? If someone tells me one more time

Alya tried to hide her face clearly embarrassed. "I really hurt my best friend Marinette, I believed the new girl and I left her in the shade and slapped her! I doubt she will ever want to be my friend again and I really fucked up! Marinette is the sweetest person I know and I never wanted to hurt her!" Alya yelled. I smile a little. At least she knows she's in the wrong, we can get through this! "I'm sure if you told Marinette that she would forgive you! I've talked to her before she seems to be understandable!" I have to pat myself on the back a little! Alya gives a small smile and says "yeah she is! I'll stop by her house later! Thank you ladybug!" And alya runs off. Chat comes over to me and says "soooo LB would you want to talk about the Akuma today?" I groan and remember all of Paris heard that, I rub my eyes and say yeah. Chat grabs me by the waist and we sit on the top of a building. "So let me start how did you know what happened with Marinette and why were you mad about it?" I asked. Chat blushed "umm well I can't go to into it because my identity but Marinette is a really close friend in real life sooooo and I was mad because she deserves better." I blush wow I wonder who chat is? Wait! I cant be thinking like that! Get it together ladybug! "That's sweet!" I cheer. Chat noir laughs a little bit and asks "so M'lady what about you?" I rub the back of my neck " well being ladybug is amazing and I wouldn't give it up for the world but sometimes I'm upset that I can't just have a normal teenage experience y'know." Chat nods "I get that, but with my real life." I turn to my cat themed partner and frown "I'm sorry about that chat." I say. "It's whatever that's why I love being chat noir so much!" I lean my head on his shoulder and we sit and watch the sunset for a little bit then I remember FUCK ALYA SAID SHE WAS GOING TO STOP BY MY HOUSE! "Chat I have to go! I'm sorry see you later!" I yelled and I swing away before I get a response.

At Marinettes house
I swing into my room and detransform just as Alya walks in. I cough and look at Alya. man this is so akward Alya starts to walk towards me and says "Look girl, I'm so sorry! I should have believed you from the start you are my best friend and I shouldn't have picked the new girl over you!" I hop down from my bed and give Alya a hug. not that she deserves on yet "Alya it will take me a little bit to get back to where we were but I forgive you and I'm just happy you believe me now." I say. We pull away from the hug, and I step back but with my luck I fell over! We both laugh. Man I missed this "Wait, Alya what made you believe me?" Alya chuckles a little and rubs her arm as she says "it was actually Adrien, once you left he kinda told us the truth and how he knew the whole time." ADRIEN!!!!
My whole face turns ladybug red and I choke out "really?!?!" Alya laughs once again and says "yeah, he really cares about you Mari." Wow I didn't know he cared that much "I HAVE TO GO THANK HIM!" I yell and rush out of my house leaving Alya behind.

Back at school when classes start back up for the day
Man where is he just then somebody pokes my arm, I scramble to turn around to see who it is only to find ADRIEN himself. "Ahhh! Adrien you were just the person I was looking for! I wanted to say thank you for sticking up for me," I blush. "Alya told me you did so thank you." I hold out some passion fruit macrons for him. It was Adrien turn to blush and say "It's not problem Mari! I actually came to find you to say sorry though." I ask him "why?" He starts "I should never have told you to take the high road that wasn't fair on you, you shouldn't have to suffer so a bad person can thrive-" I cut him off "It really wasn't that big of a deal-" this time he cuts me off "YES IT WAS! You could have been Akumatized! Mari you are always so kind to everyone and it's not right for you to be treated like that!" I blush. He continues "and Mari I was wondering if I could do something?" I stammer out "what?" He leans forward and says "this." He kisses me. HE-ADRIEN AGREST KISSES ME!!!! Omgomgomgomgomgomg I kiss back. We pull away and Adrien says "hopefully that was okay and I was wondering if maybe you would maybe want to go on a date with me?" "YES! I mean maybe! I mean yes! I mean-" Adrien chuckles and says "did you know it's really cute when you do that?" I squeak and say "nOoO." Man I must be so red right now!!!! Adrien finally takes the macaroons and eats them and says "mhmm my favorite flavor! How did you know?" I giggle and say "umm lucky guess?" He puts his arm around my shoulders and leads us back to class.
