I said "Yes!"
Tony Stark asked me to marry him.
Another attack went off this morning.
Happy ended up in the hospital.
I'm wearing a long sleeved green tea shirt, with black leggings and brown boots. My hair pulled in a braid, with black sunglasses on my nose. A new accessory on my left ring finger. My engagement ring. Tony and I exited the hospital to be surrounded by reporters all clamoring with questions. "Mr. Stark. Miss. L/n, hi there. Our sources are telling us that all signs are pointing to another Mandarin attack. Anything else either of you can tell us?"

I tilted my head down trying to shield myself from their judgement, but a blonde woman gently grab my left arm pulling me away from Tony a little. A camera's flash reflects off my ring when I held up my hand to shield my eyes. "Oh my stars, Tony Stark is off the market. Y/n L/n is now sporting a very expensive jewelry on her left hand!" Reports sworn me as I blushed a deep red, a comforting arm wraps around my waist for me to see Tony. Thank goodness.

His right hand slips into mine, tugging us towards our car but reports follow a make one who questioned. "Hey, Mr. Stark. Miss L/n. When is somebody gonna kill this guy?" Are you freaking serious right now, dude!

"Is that what you want?" Tony turns around as I stand beside him with a concerned face. "Here's a little holiday greeting I've been wanting to send to the Mandarin. I just didn't know how to phrase it until now." I gulped squeezing his hand tightly in an attempt to get him to just leave them wondering. Please don't do something stupid, Ton.

"My name is Tony Stark and I'm not afraid of you. I know you're a coward. So I've decided..." He trails off removing his sunglasses quickly as I tipped mine to the tip of my nose getting flashed. "That you just died, pal. I'm gonna come get the body. There's no politics here. It's just good-old fashioned revenge. There's no Pentagon, it's just you and me. And on the off chance you're a man, here's my home address. 10880 Malibu Point. 90265. I'll leave the door unlocked. That's what you wanted, right?" Tony grabs the guys phone aggressively in his hands to smash it on the car hood, pushing me in the backseat and getting in after. "Bill me!"

Once we're home I slammed the front door open and closed with him on my tail. "You are such an idiot! Do you realize what you've done!" He gently spun me around trying to calm my anger. "Y/n, baby. Listen to me-"

I grab my necklace that draws my iron hand over it so I blast him with it. "Ow! O-okay I deserve that. But they wouldn't leave us alone and they went after Happy. I'm done playing his game."

I bawl my hands into fists stomping down to the lab, swiping my hand over the security panels. "Jarvis! Put the house on totally securely lockdown, now!" The AI response is "right away miss Y/n." I slumped over into a computer chair ordering to my fiance. "Find this asshole now. So we can get out of lockdown and start living our peaceful life."

He gulped but talked with Jarvis for hours, trying to figure what Happy had discovered before a doorbell rang, walking me from my nap on his messy work table. "Huh - what the, who the, Ton?"

A computer screen pops up from Jarvis showing the front door to him as he sits on a crate high above the floor. "Are we still at ding-dong?" He bangs his hand angrily on the table. "We're supposed to be on total. . .security lockdown. Come on, I threatened a terrorist!"

"There's only so much I can do, sir, when you give the world's press your home address." He slides off his table slipping on his Iron Man suit. "Told ya so." I snickered getting up and going to find Pepper who thought we needed a vacation away from here.

Tony is downstairs talking with a one night stand girl from years ago as I exited my room seeing Pepper tossing our bags over the railing. "Pepper we don't have to leave tonight." She turned back to me, seeing my annoyed demeanor. "Yes we do. We haven't spent any girl on girl time since you guys saved the world." I sighed as we walked down the stairs. Pepper and Tony started arguing that we can't go because the man says so. I leaned against the window ceil looking out on the sunset that reflected off the water, the one night stand girl shouted over the pair yelling. "Do we need to worry about that!"
