Any character x reader one shots

In front of me the whole time...

Lying face down on my bed, tears soaking in the pillow. This is the third break up this year and each hurts worse than the last. Maybe... just maybe I'm not made for love. I roll over onto my back and stare up at my ceiling. 

'Why is life like this-?'

I hear a knock on my bedroom door.

"Come in-"

I mumble as the door swings open a little bit. In walks Y/C. The guy who has been with me throughout it all. He has to deal with every little stupid thing that I do, and I'm thankful for it. Lies down next to me on my bed.

"How's my favourite human doing?"

"Terrible."

We both sit up and he wraps his arm around me, like he has done many times before. It seems so natural the way my head fits into the crook of his neck, like it was meant to be. But that may just be familiarity.

"You know, you really need to think before you fall in love Y/N/N. Otherwise I'm gonna be over here everyday!"

We both chuckle and I look up at him. 

'That wouldn't be the worst thing in the world...'

I curl back up into his arms as he turns on the TV to a random movie.

Time skip

I shut the front door, smiling more than I have in days. I turn around and start to head up stairs when my mums voice stops me.

"I think you fell in love with the right guy this time."

I spin on my heel, looking at her.

"What do you mean?"

She gives me her I know something you don't smirk and turns back to her book. I continue my walk  up stairs and my mums words sink in.

'She thinks I'm in love with Y/C'

I let out a small chuckle...

'Am I?'
