(News Reporter) - It's come to our attention that Beacon's own Team CRDL was found dead earlier this week. Their bodies were found in the sewers, twisted and malformed into a grotesque monstrosity. We can only pity their fates as their families mourn for them. What remains of their corpses reminds us of what happened with Overhaul more than twenty years back. Could he have faked his death? Could he be back among the living and back to doing what he did best?
(Y/N) - ...Nah. Just passed the power to his kid...

(Y/N) - What's the damage on your end?
(Clone) - I'm hearing talk of hunting you down. They're sweeping the entirety of Junior's club for anything you might have left behind. I sure hope you got everything out of there, boss.
(Y/N) - I took great care to ensure that nothing was left behind. Is there anything else?
(Clone) - Honestly, I'd expect a lot of heat from the cops. Unless you have alibis planned, you're not getting off easy with this.
(Y/N) - Oh please. Those lazy assholes? Taking the word of eight - maybe twelve children? I'll believe it when I see it. Even then, Ozpin's trying to keep this contained. I have my doubts this is going to go public like it did with dad. And even if it does...
*Plucks a bullet from the case*
(Y/N) - ...I have an alibi, a company to use as a front, and a lot of self-defense measures. These idiots don't have any damned idea what'll hit them.
(Clone) - Fine. I'm just glad you got out of the academy alright.
(Y/N) - Speaking of, how are Haywire and Impostor?
(Clone) - Energetic and cryptic, as per usual.
(Y/N) - What the hell else is new?

(Y/N) - ...So Remnant... is quite literally a fragment of the old world?
(Salem) - Yes.
(Y/N) - And magic existed back then?
(Salem) - Yes.
(Y/N) - ...I will continue to supply your allies with my drug.
(Arthur Watts) - Just like that? Count me suspicious.
(Y/N) - I'm sorry, smart guy, would YOU like to be in immediate danger if you were in my position?
(Watts) - ...Fair enough.

(Blake) - I still can't believe you're being forgiven for that.
(Ruby) - I know... We don't deserve it...
(Yang) - I don't know why we even started doing that in the first place. It didn't feel natural at all.
(Weiss) - ...What do you mean 'didn't feel natural'?
(Yang) - We didn't hate Y/N at all. We just kinda woke up one morning and started thinking it was a good idea.
(Ruby) - It was as if we were told what to do, and we went along with it.

(Watts) - ...It seems your little pet project remains unaware of your machinations with his childhood.
(Salem) - Overhaul's also unaware of the illegal body accelerants you've been injecting him with to activate his semblance early. I'm also proud of that particular strain of Apathy I've been engineering. They did their job perfectly with their influence over the Rose family.
(Watts) - Ah, yes... the Cruelty. Those turned out rather well, surprisingly. I've never seen a Grimm genetically engineered before.
(Salem) - And now, Overhaul is just like you and the others: a tool to bring my plans to fruition.

I hope this little collection of what I didn't mention in the last book is sufficient enough for now. I'll be working on new chapters for this book, but I'm going to be really occupied after August. I can't guarantee that the chapters are going to be consistent at all - I've never been able to guarantee that.
