Chapter 8: "Finally"

Rai: "Let's get this over with..."

Everyone is tired and fatigued. Koko and Inui were on their limit and Taiju was no exception. Rai was able to fight the 2 commanders and the Leader of The Black Dragons, that is how strong he is. Taiju was hurt and wanted to just go home, lay on his bed, turn on the air conditioner and sleep but there was something which made him want to beat Rai.

Rai, Hakkai and Takemicchi made their way towards Taiju. Hakkai tried to kick Taiju but was blocked and punched to the ribs. While Hakkai was attacking, Takemicchi stood behind him. Takemicchi kicked the back of Taiju's right knee which made him kneel down. He was going to punch Taiju's nape but Rai knew he wouldn't be able to. Because Taiju now knows where he is, and what he's going to do.

Rai: "Takemicchi get out of there!"

Taiju swung his right elbow backwards to give an answer to Takemicchi's kick. But Hakkai was right there, he picked up Takemicchi and retreated back towards Rai.

Hakkai: "Woo" he sighs

Rai: "Good job"  he tells Hakkai and fistbumps him

Hakkai: *winks*

Takemicchi: "Thanks...... Ha.... kkai" he says while gasping for breath

Rai: "You're tired after that?"

Takemicchi: "hehe" he giggles while rubbing his nape

Hakkai: "Enough chit chat...... Look in front...... A lion is coming to attack"

Hakkai says and all of them look in front and see Taiju with his eyes glaring straight through their souls. It was if Taiju's eyes were telling them to die. Taiju runs towards the right and disappears from thin air. Rai and the others are confused. They don't see Taiju anywhere...... Until he appears right next to Hakkai and punches his temple. 

Hakkai falls to the ground, fully knocked out. 

Taiju: "fucking pest..."

Rai: "Takemicchi...... duck!" he says and Takemicchi ducks without thinking

Takemicchi ducks and Rai tries a roundhouse kick to hit Taiju's face but was stopped by Taiju's forearm.

Rai: "Takemicchi get back..."

Takemicchi: "but...." 

Takemicchi knew he could help Rai in beating Taiju but at the same time, he knew he would just be a problem for Rai.

Rai was running out of ideas. He now had to fully rely on his senses and physical attributes but Taiju was as if he had "Awakened".

Awakened: "In the delinquent world, the term "Awakened" is very self explanatory. A person is only able get "Awakened" in extremely rough and stressful situations. As if when he/she is backed up to a wall. After being "Awakened", it's the same as saying the strength a member from the "Ackerman Family" gets which gives them physical strength far beyond a humans' capibilities. The person becomes twice or even thrice as strong. They start becoming more aware of their surroundings and try to make the most of the situation. You could say an "Awakened" person is as strong as a Titan (Attack On Titans)"
