So this, the picture up there. That was me. Well... not me. But we are so similar the glasses, hair, everything. Except, I'm not a drawing. I never really watched anime but I did draw alot of manga and chibi. I knew I would be made fun of if I showed my art to anyone. I was basically the nerd of my year. For some reason every one avoided me. Like it wasnt hard enough moving schools half way through the year.
There was only one group of people who talked to me. At first I thought they were nice but I soon realized I was so very wrong. The toilet cubicals became my best friend. They became my hidding spot, my tourcher chamber and my personal sick bucket.
My attendance gradually dropped. Eventually, instead of skipping lessons, I just started leaving school or not coming in at all. This to me was my only option. Like hell i was risking being punched till i passed out. The school was not too keen on my new idea and frequently gave me detentions for skipping lessons which not to much surprise, I did not attend. The school called my dad a month after my transition explaining how my perfect track record had turned to shit. Needless to say he was not a happy bunny. He was more upset about having to go in on a Monday morning for a meeting, then the fact I was missing school. By this point I was not surprised, I had recently learned that the prioratys adults have are insanely stupid.
Monday morning came and the room was silent. I was not sure how to respond to the question "Why are you not going to lessons?" Asked by my head teacher. She was sitting perfectly still in her office chair, staring into my eyes. I wanted to say that a group of girls where forcing my head down a toilet everyday at 12pm between lessons 2 and 3, causing me not to breath for long amounts of time and subsequently making me pass out, so I end up throwing up from lack of oxygen, then leave school to go home so I dont have to face them for another 3 hours. I knew i did not want to see them after that. The other half of me just wanted to be silent, it wasn't like the school could change much anyway.
"Frankie?" My dad said frantically waving his hand in front of my face. "Miss Truscott just asked you a question"
"I feel sick. That's why I miss my lessons" I muffled under my breath, my head down. "It must be a bug" I wasn't lying, I was being sick.
Miss truscott slowly leant over her desk. "Well you've missed alot of lessons. You know this right?" I knodded slowly. "If you want to pass your GCSE's you have to go to all your lessons from now on"
I didn't at this point but it meant alot to my dad so I had to. She didn't say I had to pay much attention, just turn up.As I walked out my last lesson I felt my phone vibratting in my blazer. I turned of the ringer and walked home ignoring everyone around me. I weaved my way through the crowds of students by the school gates. Luckily I lived a 15 minute walk from my school and would go down all the quiet streets.
When I got home I saw my parents waiting in the middle of living room. Instead of going straight up the stairs to my bed room, I left my bag on the bottom step and slowly walked towards them. It looked like a typical scene from American tv where they call for an intervention. "What's wrong?" I asked my voice shaken. I could feel the tension in the air.
"Frankie I got a promotion" My dad cheered. He had always worked hard even if he was a prick. I was never sure what he did every time he tried to explain I turned out. I new he was some sort of consultant for some big company. I gave my dad a big hug, I knew this was a big deal for him.
"There's a catch." My mum said bluntly. Being blunt and arrogant where the only things my mum was good at. This is why i naturally got on well with my dad. I looked up at my dad and took a step back. "What?" I asked slightly worried.
"I would have to move, adored."A/n
