I returned on December 5th, 2024. I finally debuted on May 31st, 2025 I made it to the stage at the M-Net Music Awards, I sang, rapped, and danced my heart out. I wasn't the nervous, shy, little girl anymore, I finally believed in hard work, believed in my abilities, believed that the journey here was worth it, I believed in myself and that seemed to make all the difference.
Seo-Yeon, Soo-Ah and I finally finished our idea with the help of Jung-Kook and Hee-Young. Since Jung-Kook had recently done something similar with Bangtan he knew a thing or two to help the process run smoother. Since we were not high school students anymore, we decided to make the club that never started into an organization. My first year back in Seoul, I finally fulfilled my promise. My promise to show something that really affected and mattered to me once I debuted. July 12th, 2025 we brought the idea up to the school board. They were very impressed and after a few minutes of convincing we finally made a deal. We agreed to start A.B.C. (Anti-Bullying Co-operation) an organization to help kids facing depression and anxiety from household problems or bullying. This organization had a two part strategy. One part was to help kids cope with their depression and have free counseling, while the other part was to talk to their bullies and find the source from where all the negativity came from. The school board had every school admit the program into office with the two part strategy. It was a success, with only a few months of being "in business" the school board partnered with UNICEF, spreading the message globally. I felt proud of all the things we accomplished. I also finished some of my years in college, I kept it a secret but, I did two online high school years, and two college years when I was in America, with Ji-Soo's help I was able to pass all of them. That left me with four years of college left, with Seo-Yeon and Soo-Ah. While Hee-Young was the eldest of us and had two more years. Speaking of Hee-Young and I, we grew closer, now my bandmates were not only my friends, but my family. Of course I couldn't forget about Jung-Kook, after a year of my debut we finally showed our relationship to the world. We made it official... well not ring, marry official, but official no less. BigHit released a duet concert, combining our two groups and everything, we even showed up in a weekly idol's couple contest (Weekly Idol is a popular korean game show, with idols as participants). All the drama from the years before seemed to disperse. My life was finally going the way I wanted, the way I made it be, with every rash decision, and breakdown.
I was making my way to dance practice when I accidentally ran into a little girl about eleven years old. She was in front of the BigHit building and was admiring the architecture. The little girl had dark brown eyes, with airy bangs, long hair, and black circle glasses the type of what I used to wear. I awed in cuteness, but something made this girl look like she was sad and lonely, the colorful dress she was wearing was growing dull, and not full of color anymore. She looked like she hadn't smiled in years, and when the warm sun, glinted across her pale face, you could see the tear stains.
"What's wrong? Who are you?" I softly questioned the little girl.
"A-A- Ae-Cha," Ae-Cha replied almost in a whisper. So cute. I thought to myself. Ae-Cha in korean means loving daughter.
"What are you doing? What seems to be the matter?" I questioned again rewording my question. She seemed like she was going to cry again so I eased her into the BigHit building and made her sit on one of the waiting chairs. "Stay here, ok?" I told her, going up to the front desk to ask if they knew Ae-Cha... They didn't, so I sat beside Ae-Cha and asked my question once again.
"What happened? Why are you here alone?"I asked, getting more curious every second.
"I lost my way from home," Ae-Cha whispered tearing up. " The kids at school was right, I'm really am stupid," Ae-Cha mumbled to herself, unknowing I heard her.
"Oh... Do you know your house number?" I inquired.
"Yes, actually. I do. It's 1704 Kim Ave," Ae-Cha stated, cheering up. I smiled, I didn't know what was cuter her bunny smile the way she said avenue as ave.
