Hi friends,
I wrote this for my 1000th post on IF. I hope you all like it. Thank you.

'It was a hectic day ', Virat's brain started.
'Indeed' his heart agreed.
'I hope I could take some rest at least now' his heart added in a tired voice.
'For God's sake, you literally didn't do anything today' his brain accused in a stern voice.
'Didn't you see when I felt bad two minutes straight for the terrorist today?' his heart asked in surprise.
'Yeah, after enjoying the scene of Virat beating him up for one hour straight!' his brain taunted, making his heart gulp.
Ignoring them, Viart opened the door of his house only to halt and sigh disappointedly.
'Oh no!' both his brain and heart wailed in unison - which is very rare. He wished he had learned some magic that would transport him directly into his bedroom without crossing this family landmine. Alas, he missed attending Hogwarts school.
'Because you didn't receive any admission letter' his brain stated lazily.
'Because Samrat had hit the post-owl with a stone' his heart reasoned out in a high pitch tone..
'I am just waiting for the day you would accept that there is no Hogwarts' his brain said lazily.
'Bite me' his heart replied.
Ignoring their banter, he took a step forward.
'Wait, Virat' his brain shouted, halting him effectively. What now?
'Can't you see they are all sitting ready for another drama? Already we had a terrible day.' his brain added.
'I agree. Surely, there is going to be some drama.' his heart almost cried.
'We still have a chance to escape. Just keep the mobile phone in your ear and act like you got some urgent work, Virat.' his brain ordered.
'Don't you know that he never lies.' his heart asked his mind, making him feel proud.
'Only last night, he lied to Sai that the ring is her birthday gift' his brain stated casually, making him and his heart both shrink in shame.
'That was because he wants her to accept his gift' his heart reasoned out. Thank god!
'Day before that he lied and scolded Sai in front of the family' his brain added.
'That was because he wants to surprise her' his heart said in an exasperated tone. Yes, good one.
'Two days before, he lied to Trimurtis about Sai's demise' his heart expanded the list.
'Oh no... don't say that... It hurts me' his heart said sadly. He grimaced at its bad acting. Maybe that's why its first choice was Pakhi.
'Nautanki... don't change the topic' his brain warned.
'Okay! He lies very rarely for good reason. Leave the past and focus here. I am very tired' his heart wailed.
'Me too. We could have taken rest in Virat's office' his brain suggested.
'Already there is a gossip in the office that at the age of dropping kids to school, ACP sir is dropping his wife to college! If they see him napping at his office at night... I don't even want to think about it,' his heart said in an alert tone.
