Chapter 2

The next day when he woke up.... Ilhoon groaned loudly. His head was pounding.

This is why he never drinks. The after-effects are horrible.

He sat on his bed slowly, he felt his throat dry up. He quickly grabbed the water and drank it in a single gulp and thanked himself for keeping the water bottle near the bed.

But wait !!!!

He doesn't remember doing that. In fact, he doesn't even remember how he came home. And when did he change his clothes?

What the hell is happening??

He searched for his phone and found it in the same place where he found the water bottle on the bedside table. But wait there's another thing on the table that he doesn't have any memory of earlier.

There was a small note saying "Reheat the food and eat up"

Strange.. he thought and ignored the note, for now, questioning its existence. Did his manager come around and tried to wake him up but left when he did not get up?

He doesn't know.

He got up slowly and put his phone on charge as it was dead. He may get some answers there, like booking a cab to reach home maybe? Or calling someone to pick him up.

He went to freshen up. When he came out of the bathroom, he quickly dressed up and took his phone, and went to the kitchen.

He was shocked again !!!!

Is this magic or is his manager an angel? Or whoever put it there. There was food on the counter and now he understood what it meant by the yellow sticky note he saw earlier.

He decided that it was better to follow what the note said and felt a lot better when he was taking the sips of hot soup.

He then switched his phone ON. But there was nothing useful there. No cabs were booked, but there were so many missed calls from all of his members. Did he miss any schedule today?? As far as he remembers there was no schedule for this week, that's why he decided to chill with his friends. Why did they call him then? And most importantly...

How did he come home?

He felt the sudden urge to find answers, what happened after his friends left, did he embarrass himself in public. OH MY GOD. he started panicking and went to his drawing-room to turn on the TV to check the news if there was anything regarding him.

But then, there was another yellow sticky note. What the hell !!! Whoever it is that left these notes must have felt that they are some Puzzle masters. They could have just left a message on his phone just how normal people would do.

"Come and see me in my studio at the company when you are alive again"

Who was this person?

This was definitely not his manager, he would never leave notes, especially not the ones in such a tone.

But anyways he went ahead and did what he intended to do.

After surfing through all the news channels and all the possible internet articles. He sighed in relief, it seems that at least he did not embarrass himself in some way. Thank god for that.

Then one of his acquaintances dropped him home. But who was the question? And how they found him was another question.

He read the note again "Come and see me in my studio at the company when you are alive again"

It was definitely one of his members. Because managers don't have their own studio. And his other friend would mention more details. But this note clearly meant their company and a studio that Ilhoon is very familiar with.

And it's definitely not Sungjae. He would never write like that. And not Peniel because he would not ask Ilhoon to come and see him in his studio. He would just say something like "take care man!!"

So it leaves him with 4 options.

But Eunkwang was not in the city right now, he went to his family home.

So 3 possibilities. Who can it be ??

He was lowkey hoping it was Hyunsik because if it was Minhyuk then he was up for a good long lecture and he wouldn't stop there, he would tell Eunkwang and then there would be another round of lecture. And he was in no mood for that.

And with Changsub he didn't know what to expect, it can go either way like Changsub can totally be chill about it and brush it off and even tease him a bit but .. but... if it's the other way, then it would be better to just not see him today or tomorrow or ever.

At Least with Hyunsik, he can manage to convince him to not tell anyone and escape saying some shit as he did it for inspiration. Not that he would buy that, but there are chances he won't be too serious about it.

Because whoever it was out of these 3 the note didn't seem happy at all.
