Chapter 7~ surprise surprise

(Sorry for skipping ahead)
-6 months later-

||Arianas POV||

"Babe we have to make a nursery." I tell Jai as we sit on the couch cuddling. "alrighty.... lets go to Ikea."

We hop in the car ( I sorta struggle getting in) and we drive for an hour until we reach the big blue store. Jai comes over to my side of the car and helps me out. "babe I'm gonna push you in a cart or something. I don't want you straining your feet." I smiled at his kind offer and got inside of a cart. we pushed around and found the baby section.

"Aw! This crib is adorable! And look! That changing Station is perfect!" I squealed Jai noted the numbers on our paper (if you've been to ikea you'd get that lol) and we continued looking for clothes and furniture.

||Jais POV||

We finish finding the furniture we wanted and head down to the pick up area. I find the numbered items and get another cart to put them in. as I go over to ari to help her out of the cart I see her grasping the bars of it tightly. "babe what's wrong?" I ask noticing her eyes are shut. she doesn't respond and I ask again. this time she sighs and says "Jai I think I'm in labor."

"Labor! But you're only 8 or so months, right?" I couldn't believe this was happening- and here! Forgetting the items we had picked out I pushed the cart containing ari out to the parking lot and helped her into the car. we drove to the nearest hospital and the whole way ariana was speechless.

As we pull up I rush out and run inside to get a wheelchair. moments later I return to the car and ariana has tears streaming from her face. "God it hurts so bad!" She cried. I rubbed her belly and helped her into the chair.

I wheeled her to a delivery room and got her changed into a gown. "ow Jai! I wanna push so bad!" She cringed. I helped her on to the bed and spread her legs out. I found a blanket and put it over her legs so she wouldn't see. "I, I don't know what to do!" I said panicking. she screamed and I held her hand as I saw the baby's head slowly starting to come out. "oh god!" She shrieked as she let out another push. "OWWWW!" She groaned as the head finally made its way out. "you're doing great Ari. just breathe." I told her.

after a few more pushes the baby was almost out. ariana moaned as she finally pushed it out. "ow!" She screeched as it ended. I picked the baby up and cut the cord and then wrapped it in a blanket. "it's a girl!" I said excitedly. she weakly smiled and held her arms out to hold her. "she's so pretty." she said out of breathe. "she sure is darling. you did a great job." I replied. i kissed her and after a while got ready to go home.
