she ( indigo shepherd ) lives in a motel with her mother ( kara shepherd ).
she lives across the street from otis lort and his dad, james lort.
she finds a lot of things out about otis and his dad.

the pool was dark with purple lights near by. the splashes from indigo falling in wasn't too loud. otis runs over to her looking worried. she pops her head up creating little ripples near by. she starts laughing. otis gets off of his hands and knees up to his feet. he gives her a frustrating confused look.
"come in, otis. the waters nice." she chuckles again paddling her arms to keep herself a float. he looks at her in the eyes, then smirks. he walks backwards. he takes off his shirt, then taking out the lighter that was in his pocket throwing it. he cups his mouth and yells, "watch out!!!!" she paddles away to where she can touch.
otis runs and does a front flip into the deep end. his splash created big ripples through out the pool. he grabs the side of the pool hanging on, then swims to where indigo is. they both laugh with no sound coming out. only small smiles and gestures. otis goes under water to where indigo is and puts her lugs over his shoulders. he stands with her on top of his shoulders.
"ahh what are you doing?!" indigo laughs putting her hands over her face then dragging the down to the top of his head. "you'll see." otis flops backwards into the deep end making it so the both go under water.
how did two kids who never talked, be on each other's shoulders in a pool? it didn't matter anyway, they were both happy.
"hey uhm what were you reaching for? some dignity?" they both chuckle. "no, i actually spent a dollar on two cokes for us." she crosses her arms and looks away. "and there in the pool?" before she could answer he dives down, opens his eyes and look for the two cokes.
"i only found one." he says rushing for air as he pops up. she hides her laugh. "that's because the other one is up there, stupido." he jumps out and walks over to the other can leaving a trail of water behind.
as he picks it up and walks towards her, the purple light near by flashes on him as he's dripping with pool water. is it possible he could look that good? indigo stops smiling and looks him in the eyes completely dumbfounded.
"you're like- kinda beautiful." indigo completely blacks out as she says that. "oh, i am?" he smirks at her jumping in. "holy- did i say that out loud?" she looks uncomfortable. "yep." otis walks towards her, hands her the coke and grins. "your blushing." she laughs. "your totally blushing right now." she uses her arms to push her up on the side of the pool. she sits there and opens her can.
he goes and sits next to her. "and what if i am?" he says in a cocky tone. we look at eachother and laugh.
we were finally friends, but i wanted to be more already.
