Chapter 7

"And why won't you let me drive our ship?!"

Bidio was frustrated, he had always claimed he was a great pilot.
"Your reckless" Breha said as she spun back around in her chair, she met his gaze with a smirk. I spoke up, "yes very reckless." He scoffed, he leaned back on the couch to were his head rested on the wall. He closed his eyes thinking of something to say to boil Breha's blood, I spoke up before he could say anything.
"Your our gunner Bidio, no offense" I look over at Breha, "I'd never trust Breha with the gunner part." This time she was the one to scoff, she tossed her arms up in frustration and turned her chair back over to the control counsel. She pressed a few buttons, "we are approaching Tatooine in 3 minutes." I slid off the couch and stretched, Breha looked over her shoulder at me. "I'll go wake up Canna, she's not going to be happy for us for letting her fall asleep during a mission."
Bidio had opened his eyes, "she needs the rest Farsight, she barley gets any sleep at night anymore." I looked down at him, "I know she needs the rest, and I in fact have no problem with her falling asleep, but she doesn't like the fact of her falling asleep on a mission." I continued, "don't worry, I'll let her know you were the one that let her fall asleep." I kicked his leg playfully as I walked out of the cockpit, "hey, ouch!"

I walked through my ship, she was still leaned against the table with her head between her arms on the table. I eyed the med room, 'I could have left a light on for him' I thought to my self. I looked back down at Canna, she was snoring slightly. I tapped her shoulder, "Canna, nu xama ael get jus." Every now and then I spoke in my native language, twi'leki, I mainly used it to talk to her because she spoke mando'a. We never understood each other, but we did.?
She signed, she lifted her head up and rubbed her eyes, "Pehea munit was Ni asleep par..?" She sounded irritated, as I guessed. I didn't understand her but I had an idea of what she said.
"You were asleep for about 15 minutes, don't worry nothing happened." She stood up and I let her out of the booth, she mumbled something under her breath.

"Jumping out of hyperspace!"

Me and Canna both heard Breha shout but we had no time to react before the ship jolted out of hyperspace. Me and Canan lost our balance, Canna caught herself against the wall, I fell on her trying to catch myself on something. She grabbed arm and let me balance myself on her, well this is embarrassing. I looked up at her, we were both blushing, "well this is kinky" I mocked. She smiled and rolled her eyes, she let go of my arm jokingly and I had to quickly balance myself before I went face first into Canna or the wall.
"Dank farrik."

Bidio came through the cockpit door and froze when he saw me technically leaning against Canna.
Canna looked over at him and her cheeks turned pink. "Do I uh...need to come back at a different time..?" I pushed myself off of Canna, she made a grunt noise when I pushed away. I adjusted my clothes and looked over at Bidio, "not to worry Bidio, I know that's your job to do, but it would have been nice to have a little more time to react to going out of hyperspace." Bidio put his hands up over his face to cover his cheeks turning pink. I turned to look at Canna, she smiled at me and laughed.

The man finally had time to himself, after excusing himself from his slaves. He placed out the hypertransceiver in front of him and a figure showed in front of him. "Hey ehh tell your uh master I eh have people returning his bounty on the uh" he tried to remember the name of the bounty Jabba placed out, "the eh bounty your master placed." He was stumbling on words, he hated talking to Jabba or anyone that worked for Jabba. He finally looked at the person he was talking too, it was a woman. She had bone straight, white hair that went barely below her jaw. She was wearing a skin tight black jump suit that had a belt to hold her weapons, she was wearing red lipstick and had emotionless grey eyes.
She placed her hands on her hips, "and who were these people you...hired for the job." The man scratched the back of his neck nervously, "one was just eh a man, and uhh..he had two others with him." The girl raised an eyebrow, "when shall they be back with the bounty.?"
"Any time now!" He said quickly.
She crossed her arms over her chest, "then call back her when they arrive." She gave him a glare and reached down to end the call before he shouted, "wait!" She froze and looked at him. "You eh are a slave searcher uhh correct..?" Her face lit up a little, you almost couldn't tell. "Yes, I work with the Zygerrians on Zygerria, why do you ask.?" A devilish smile creeped among the mans face, "the people I eh hired, he worked uhh with a beautiful Twi'lek and Togruta." He continued, "and I'm eh guessing they will be back soon, you uh could come and, ya know.." the woman smiled, "absolutely, your share of paying will increase." She man smiled and ended the call.

The landing wasn't the greatest, the worst time to come back to this planet was right during its sandstorm. Me and Breha stood up, I walked towards the door when Breha grabbed my arm, "you alright, you seem unsteady.." I looked over my shoulder to her, "I'm alright, it's just." I sighed "somethings wrong, I don't know what it is yet." She nodded and let go of my arm.
You both met Bidio and Canna in the "chill" room, as that's what Bidio calls it. "We should all get some googles on at least, maybe something with a hood.." Canna looked at Breha, "sandstorm.?" Breha nodded. Bidio still had his googles on his forehead from earlier, "I'll go get the bounty." He walked into the med room and disappeared. Breha walked over to a storage closet and grabbed theee pairs of goggles and ponchos. One of them had two holes at the top of the hood for Breha's Montrals to poke through. The bounty came stumbling through the door as Bidio pushed him through. "Be carful with him." I snarled.

Instead of Bidio walking the bounty, I wanted to, I placed my hand on the small of his back and pushed him a little as we walked down the ramp. "Might wanna close your eyes, there's a sandstorm." The man scoffed, but he did as I said. I took us longer to get to the mans shop, last time there was a sandstorm as well but not as bad.
We finally got to the shop, we all crowded in there, everyone started to shake off the sand from there clothes, and slide the goggles off our faces. Canna and Breha walked over to the shelf's whispering to each other. The man appeared, "aye! Your already eh back.!" He stepped out from the counter, he had a smug look in his face. I gave the bounty a slight push meaning for him to walk forward, and he did till i grabbed the back of his shirt to stop. The man examined the bounty, "and you eh brought him back alive, good good." The man grabbed the bounty's arm and tried to pull him over to his side, but I remained my grip on his shirt. "The rest of the money." I said in a cool voice. Canna had looked over the shelf over towards us.
"Ah eh yes yes of course." The man walked over to the back of the counter and grabbed a little bag filled with credits, he tossed them over to Bidio, he barely caught it. I pushed the bounty over to the man.

"Eh it was a pleasure doing business with you!" Bidio had nodded and turned to leave, Breha and Canna had also started there way towards the door. But, I felt something, something cold. The man looked at me, "want to stay sweetheart.?" I looked up at the man, he had a cold glare in his eyes, I looked over at the bounty, he was pleading from his eyes.

"Koa, ril don't think donc." There was my Twi'leki speaking again. Without hesitation I grabbed my blaster and shot the Man right in the chest. The man made a choking noise then fell backwards. "What did you do?!" Bidio said, I turned around and saw them all starring at me. I gulped, "he called someone on us already,we have to go." You continued, "I'll explain later, Canna go behind the counter and get the rest of his credits, Bidio, get him out of those cuffs." The bounty looked down at you, "your....your letting me go..?" Bidio rushed behind him and started undoing his cuffs. I nodded at him, "it's the right thing, you may have stole money, but your doing the right thing." He smiled at me, Canna grabbed all the credits she could and shoved them all in a bag. The handcuffs dropped to the floor, the bounty reached his hands in front of his and rubbed his wrists. I took off my poncho and gave it to him. "Here, put this on and put the hood up, try and get off this planet, now go!" The bounty took the poncho and looked me in my eyes.
