Haikyuu!! Little space one shots

Caregiver: Kenma Kozume

Little: Shoyo Hinata (ages 4-6)

This takes place on Karasuno's 2nd training camp, the one Saeko drives Shoyo and Tobio to. Now onto this oneshot.

>At the training camp during the first day<

Kenma's POV 

Fukurodani, Shinzen, Ubugawa and Karasuno all arrived this morning but I noticed that Shoyo and their main setter wasn't there. "Where is chibi-chan and your 1st year setter Daichi?" Kuroo asked. The silver haired setter looked down while Daichi replied with; "They had to stay back for a supplementary class as they both failed one of their exams but they should be here by this evening." Hearing this my concentration completely shifted from my psp to Daichi. I looked Karasuno's captain up and down then looked at their vice captain before opening my mouth to ask the one question that had been circling my head since Daichi said 'supplementary classes'. "You didn't lecture Shoyo too badly, right?..." I was looking Daichi in the eyes waiting for his response.

"Well, I lectured the pair of them a little bit after practice but Hinata did look like he was about to cry or something on the way home afterwards..." He was looking at his hands and playing with his fingers. I sighed while pinching the bridge of my nose when suddenly I remembered what the coaches told me (as they know that Shoyo is a little and that I'm his caregiver), "Oh and by the way me and Shoyo are sleeping in a separate classroom and will be locked while we are in and out of the classroom. Shoyo's request." I bow to Karasuno before turning on my heel and playing on my psp before warm ups start.

Throughout the day my game play wasn't the best but Kuroo knew why though. He knows everything I know about Shoyo because Kuroo often babysits him when I'm not available to look after my little boy.

Time skip because I'm fighting writer's block with a Kirishima playlist blasting at full volume through my headphones at midnight

Shoyo's POV

Me and Kagayama got to the training camp alive. That surprised me because big sis' driving is so reckless and dangerous but we are here and that's all that matters. I'm so close to slipping at the moment but I have to push it down as it's not free time yet. These exams have really taken a toll on me, I hope Kenma doesn't notice how much I'm struggling at the moment. If I'm being honest with myself right now; I feel like a burden that is weighing Kenma down when I'm in little space. Granted I'm not an energetic ball of orange in head space but I become very clingy and need a lot of reassurance. 

We push open the doors to the gym as everyone stops playing to look at us. Coach comes up to us and tells us to get changed and leads us to the changing rooms as the others resume their games. Me and Kageyama walk into the changing room and quickly throw our black shorts and white practice tops. I put on my yellow no. 10 bib as I walk out of the changing room and head back to the gym. When I get into the gym, I walk up to coach and Takeda sensei and they welcome me to the camp and tell me that I will be sat on the bench for the rest of this game but will be on the court to play against Fukurodani. If I said that I wasn't scared I'd be lying to myself, how am I supposed to go up against a power house like them. I was freaking out, what do I do? Before I know it I'm on my knees grabbing at my throat as I struggle to breath, I knew exactly what this was I was having an anxiety attack. "Ke....Ken....ma...." Was all I could make out. I heard blurred noises, not being able to hear what was being said clearly. I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder but in a state of panic and fear I screamed and backed away quickly, accidentally slamming my back into a wall.

 Kuroo's POV

I heard a scream and instantly  put my hands up in a 'T' position indicating I request a time out. The ref allowed it and I pulled Kenma towards me. "I'm not the only one that heard that was I?" I asked Kenma, worried as I could tell who had screamed just off of the sound of the scream. It was Hinata....

Hi, I know it has been a long time since I have updated this story and I apologise for that but it has not been a very easy year for me. I have been cooped up with college work and personal problems. I will try and update this story more regularly. 

On a good note I'm back in the right mental state to carry on and work on the books I have on here. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I love writing them.
