Eunae clapped along with everyone else in the wedding hall.
'This story completed as well' She thinks as she smiles. It was the 26 story she was apart of. The 26th cliché story. The now bride and groom were classmates who hated each other back then but eventually fell in love in their late twenties. She was just another extra of the story as usual. Happy for the couple,she headed out of there.
Walking with heels clasping she thinks, 'I hope I am not an extra in the next story. Being a side character would be better. Someone would actually remember me' But then again ,she had been hoping the same thing everytime she is in a new story.
The sky darkened as she sighs, 'Wow ,the new story started pretty fast'
Soon with a blink of an eye,she found herself standing in the middle of a road in a bright day . She looks down at what she was wearing, a blue knee length dress.
She looks around and not to much surprise, she finds herself focusing on two particular people. The people who had spotlight on them which no one else but Eunae could see.
Shim Jaeyoon and Jang Seolhyun
'So they are the new main characters?' Eunae thinks.
Eunae remains stunned,this story was different. Unlike her previous stories she didn't have visions of what she had to do. For example,in her 10th story she had to throw a banana peel on the floor so that the couple would fall into each other's arms . Or in her 16th story she had to lock the couple into a small room so that they could become friends.
This time she had no idea what to do. She didn't have visions of herself doing anything . She just knew that those two would fall in top of each other but she had no idea how.
Shrugging,she walks towards the building not knowing what to do.
"Good morning Eunae-yah!" One of them greets, her best friend Hana Lee.
She has been friends with her since kindergarten. Hana too had been extras in many stories even though she hasn't realized it but that soon changed when she met her boyfriend Lee Heeseung last year. Needless to say,they were a cute couple who where meant for each other.
"Oh hi Hana" I reply with a smile.
"Did you complete the transactions? The new boss is here and we need to complete it before welcoming himself" she says as I nod.
The new boss, meaning Jake.
"Seolhyun's running late again. She is going to make a bad impression on the boss's first day"Hana says again
'An employee and a boss story?' Eunae thinks while she is still confused. Why is she not having visions?
The employees rush back to their desks at the sound of elevators door opening. Jake walks inside looking cool as ever under the spotlight.
'He's cute' Eunae thinks but soon hits herself and tells herself to stop dreaming since it wasn't her story.
Everyone bows to him as he bows back
"Good morning everyone,I am Jake Shim . Your new boss,hope we get along well" He says introducing himself.
After some time all of us could hear footsteps running through the hallways. The door opened causing everyone's attention to divert to the person
Jang Seolhyun, The female lead
"Sorry I am late" She says breathless. Jake glares at her . "I dont like people who don't respect time "He says as calmly as possible.
He walks towards his cabin while she tries to follow him.
"Sir i-" She tries to say something and Eunae knows very well what's coming. Seolhyun would probably fall on top of him.
The plot was going smooth, Seolhyun stumbled on her heels but what was supposed to happen,didn't happen. While Seolhyun accidentally stumbled on her heels,she held onto Eunae for support which resulted Eunae to loose her balance.
So now Eunae was waiting for her face to fall flat on the ground but surprisingly someone caught her. Jake? She thinks 'Wtf is happening? How? Why am I in the place of the female lead?" She thinks while he still had his arms around her waist. Both of their cheeks turned red and they both stood up as quickly as possible.
"Sorry sir"Eunae says as he nods saying its OK
"Be more careful. Miss?" He asks "Kim Eunae" "Yes Miss Eunae"He replies walking to his office.
"Dude what was that?" Hana asks to the very embarrassed girl.
"I dont know "She replies. Eunae was confused,this has never happened before. The plot had never changed like this and also she had never found her heart beating so rapidly because of a main lead. This shouldn't be happening? An extra and a main lead shouldn't be like this.
She thinks . But little does she know,the fate is changing. Little by little ,the plot will change. For the first time in a while,a story of a main lead and an extra is written together.
