"Hey Tae what are you thinking about?" she asked gently, watching the clouds. "nothing much really" she remained silent for a few seconds then let out her pinky towards me. "I'm not taking that for an answer so you have to promise me you'll tell me what you're actually thinking." She was a direct and stubborn person the total opposite of me really. "Do you ever feel that you just don't belong, that you were born into a certain life others say is destiny but for you it's just confusion, a puzzle you can't solve. That you all wish is to run away so that you can find those answers yourself." I sighed, "I mean what's the use? I don't think things can ever change." I glanced to the ground.
"so what's stopping you? you could still do that." her eyes were stuck on mine I could start to feel the frantic heartbeats in my chest "what do you mean I can?""you said you wanted to go find answers, why don't you begin looking for those missing pieces to your puzzle? it's never too late to do so." And with those lines, began the day I finally understood what I truly craved for. The ability is be free and be me but it won't happen if I don't start now.
