"That'll be two dollars" I sigh while chewing a gum, when I hear no answer, I looked at the customer. His blushing staring at the ground.

"Hey can you hear me? I said two dollars, can you pay and scoot over? There is still some customers lining up behind you" looking at him in annoyance, I pointed at the two customers behind his back.

"I- can I have your number?" He finally said something, I look around to see who is he talking to. I pointed at myself, tilting my head to the side.

The boy nodded his head scratching it after "Sorry not interested, I'm here to earn money not to lose some money." I explained clearly not interested

"How can you lose money?" He dumbly ask, I glared at him.

"What's your name? Hmm, can I call you Steve? I'mma call you Steve. First Steve, you are clearly a highschool student with no income because you only bought a two dollar worth of food

Second the two dollar probably is your parents money, Third when we go on a date who will pay the bills when we go eat in a restaurant? Obviously not you because you have no money.

So you'll rely on me to pay, that means I'll lose money on the food you clearly ate. Nothing is more important to me than money, so run along and pay the two dollars."

I wave him off, Steve look so offended he slammed the money on the counter storming off. "Rude" I scoffed, I signaled the next customer to move forward.

"Lady why can't you be a little bit gentler to the gentleman? Your looks don't suit your personality" the old lady shakes her head.

"20.37 dollars" I put my hand out, the old lady rummage through her bag just to take out a crumpled news paper. She unfolded the newspaper slowly, I groan in annoyance.

When the newspaper finally came off I sigh in relief just to be disappointed to see a box tied with many ribbons. She untied the ribbon around the box.

"Can you hurry up?" I glared at the old lady, she looked up and stared at me with an angry look.

"That is not how you treat the elderly! How did your parents raise you?!" The old lady shouted angrily, I covered my ears to avoid going deaf.

"Why did you wrap your money?! Not like someone is willing to stole from you?" I talked to her aggressively, the other customer behind the old lady put down his tray of goods and took off to avoid conflict.

"Where's your manager?!"

"I told you many times not to be rude! Now look at this! We have a complaint, your fired heres fifty!" The owner of the store handed me my payment.

"Hey I have been working here for a week nonstop, it's supposed to be a hundred!" I complained, he slapped me on the head, I groan in pain.

"Look! This is why you get scolded because of your nasty personality, it's only half because you worked horribly and we lost many customers because of you"

"It's not my fault, y'all shitty! Can't they just order in peace?!" I complained, he slapped me again but harder.

"Get out and don't show your face ever again!" I grunted, walking out of the store angrily. The bells chimed when I went out the door, I walk on the sidewalk kicking pebbles on the way.

"What a fucked up life! Fuck you Gods! Because of you my life is a mess, fucking pathetic!" I shouted and sky rumbled because of a lightning followed by a thunder, the rain starts falling.

"Fuck you assholes! Why don't yall just die and disappear! Raining at a time like this?!" I shouted, wiping off some droplets on my face.

I run back to my apartment, my cheeks getting red because of the cold air. I took off my jacket throwing it on the ground and flopping myself on my rundown couch.
