"I didn't realise we were going on a date." Jimin said, speaking from behind Taehyung.

His voice was sarcastic when he peeked over Taehyung's shoulder to grimace at their reflections in the mirror. They looked as pasty as each other under the unattractive green shades of the fluorescent lighting of their office bathroom, but where Jimin was staring into the distance in boredom, Taehyung was keenly arranging his dark, soft locks cascading over his brow.

"Er... what? What you on about?" Taehyung asked, briefly flicking his eyes to Jimin's via the mirror, pretending to be dumbfounded and most definitely not admitting to anything, only renewing his question with a lifting of his eyebrows while he carried on arranging his curls.

Jimin shook his head and rolled his eyes, perfectly aware of Taehyung's pretence -they had known each other long enough for that- but he found himself intrigued by the fact that, for once, he didn't know what Taehyung was hiding.

Tapping his foot impatiently -the annoying noise echoing around the grimy tiles- Jimin puffed up his candyfloss hair with his bejewelled fingers before rolling his eyes again when Taehyung carried on positioning his already perfect waves.

"You, you idiot! You're doing your hair and we're going out for a coffee, on our lunch break!" He huffed in exasperation when Taehyung delayed on purpose, giggling at the extra eyerolling. Taehyung was convinced that at this rate Jimin was going for the world record of eye rolls per day.

"Seriously Tae. I'm gonna fall asleep if I don't get some caffeine in this perfect body." He winked at Taehyung on his way through the door, no longer willing to wait for his friend.

Rushing to catch up with his perfectly proportioned yet vertically challenged friend, Taehyung thought how grateful he was that Jimin seemed oblivious to his reasons for wanting to look his best when going to their favourite local establishment -a lovely café around the corner from their office.

He was a little bit apprehensive about telling anyone about his reasons, but least of all Jimin, because Taehyung knew he'd never hear the end of it if the pink monster got a whiff of what was going on.

Besides, he didn't need his best friend telling him how totally out of hand he was getting because he was already perfectly aware of how ridiculous, borderline unhealthy, or worse, perhaps even a little creepy he was being...

Taehyung kept trying to convince himself that this was all just his sex-deprived body trying to tell him that it had been a while...

Taehyung was obsessed.

As soon as he'd seen the strong yet lithe body covered with a fitted white shirt squeezing the broad shoulders and black, formal pants with a short, black apron tied tight around his stupendously narrow waist, Taehyung was sold.
