Prologue

Never did I think people could cooperate nor coordinate life along side the supernatural creatures which to them were just bedtime stories and ways of scaring young ones to get them in shape

After a full century of war people came to terms of living together as one because a lot of lives were lost blood was shed and places were destroyed to an extend that marks will forever stay and memorials of those who dedicated  their lives in ensuring peace amongst the species will be engraved in their hearts

So in a world ruled by a representative from each species treaties were made and all agreed on the terms and everything seemed to be at per

But what happens when the ones we thought and took as our saviors start a conspiracy against one of the ruling species the vampires....

Vampires happened to be at the top the ruling clan over everything else
They never gained their power because of their sharp pearly white fangs or their  aging ability or the fact that to them all the species were food to them
No to everyone's surprise they turned out to be sweet and considerate to everyone's opinions and views
They never took advantage of their abilities but instead used them to help those who needed a hand
They knew that they were the strongest amongst the others but they never used that as a free ticket to get what they wanted
To them they were just as normal as the others because the differnces between them and the others was the similarities to them

All in all they were above,the top ruling and others followed

But on dreadful scenario occurred which changed the lives of everyone and everything we once knew
The queen and king were found assassinated one morning and a note that had not even the slightest trace of a scent happened to lay on the beside table of the king and queen's bed

No one knows what the note said because to the public they refused to reveal it and next we know is the coronation of the next king
But upon his coronation he vowed to seek vegence for his parents even if it means to go against the treaty made
His identity was never revealed for fear he might face the same as his parents

But we are all always alert cause we know he roams amongst us but we only have to be cautious of our daily activities

Because from that moment we lost the once loving people who rules us and got replaced with ruthless and stone cold king
No one even knows  his real name only thing we know is once you get to know his identity your bound not to see the broad day light again

But aside from everything that has transpired people easily adjusted to the new system and how things work for we live together with these mythical creatures and even breed with them giving rise to the hybrids

But will love ever open the kings eyes, will he ever be able to forgive,will he ever have what it takes to find happiness in another soul and even see past everything and start fresh....?

We got to know about mates and their values and our one question is which poor soul will be paired with his to neutralize it and will be willing to accept what he is given or will he reject what is rightfully his because of his thirst for blood and revenge

For the poor soul destined to him has to match his wrath and cruel ways

All left in suspense and blindly waiting for our own fates cause you will never know when the snake is about to release  it's venom

But that was until l came in the picture not knowing of what fate has in store for  me
Will l have what it takes to change history or will I be like the rest of my ancestors
For l don't even know what to do...
Will my presence be even acknowledged
or I be ignored and tossed to the side

For this what l am destined to do and no matter what l can't escape fate
For l am the only hope to save and restore peace to our once lovely world
