Memory Proof

"So....." Tzuyu went on to, "that's what happened."
Most of the girls were crying. Not just because of sadness for Tzuyu but because they were scared. What Tzuyu felt was extreme pain.
"Wha-what would've happened if you were actually poisoned?" Momo asked.
"I would've felt that pain constantly, I'm guessing." Tzuyu shivered from fear.
"I don't understand." Chaeyoung cried, "why is this so real, yet it's an illusion. I'm scared. I'm very scared. Not just for myself. But for everyone."
Everyone agreed to the fact that they were scared.
"Guys." Jihyo chocked on her tears, "I know it's hard but...we can do this. I'll make sure we're all safe. Each and every one of you. Even if your the traitor. I will still make sure your safe."
Jihyo was the best leader anyone could ask for.
"What do we do now?" Asked Mina hesitantly.
"Well...." Jihyo started even though she was always strong, she can't always be strong. If that makes sense.
"Why are we putting pressure on Jihyo?" Asked Momo. It was probably the smartest she said this whole day.
"We should find Dahyun." Tzuyu suggested.
"I thought she was poisoned." Nayeon noted.
"Not anymore." Tzuyu said, "she defeated it after she said those things to me. Probably because of guilt. But she is our best chance of knowing who the traitor is. Maybe she would remember."
"Well if she remembered wouldn't she have already told us?" Asked Chaeyoung and Tzuyu just shrugged.
"Ok. Then it's settled." Jihyo agreed standing up from the couch, "we should split up in pairs and cover more ground."
"Not pairs." Tzuyu replied, "whoever the traitor is would have direct contact with one member. We need to split up in three."
"But there has to be one pair of two." Jeongyeon said, "it would be even but Dahyun is missing."
"Two groups of four isn't enough." Tzuyu added.
"Then we will do one group of two." Jihyo said.
"That's risky." Nayeon said frowning.
Everybody looked around eachother.
"How do we decide who's going where?" Asked Chaeyoung.
The girls thought for a strong moment. But Jihyo smiled, "by proving that we're not the traitor."
The girls were confused at Jihyo's suggestion.
"We don't know if the traitor has all the real person's memories. So we need to prove that we have our memories. And it can't just be any memory. It has to be meaningful."
They decided to try it. Everyone seemed confident though.
"I'll go first." Jihyo started. She looked around for a second and her eyes landing on Jeongyeon, "will you go with me?"
"It depends on what the memory is." Jeongyeon smiled. She was also confident.
"It was twelve years ago." Jihyo started, "Jeongyeon you were wearing a dark green polo and dark navy blue skinny jeans. Your hair was very short and you were very tall. I heard that you were age and decided to come up to you. You seemed shy but we talked for a bit. Jeongyeon. What were the first words I said to you?"
Jeongyeon smiled and let out a small chuckle, "I have a friend now." She smiled.
"Good job." Jihyo smiled back.
"Wow." Mina said amazed at what they just shared.
"I'll go." Tzuyu offered.
"Wasn't the whole almost poisoned thing and dream thing enough?" Momo asked.
"She could be lying." Jihyo said staring deep into Tzuyu's eyes, "even though I believe her. She still has to go."
Tzuyu nodded and looked at Sana, "Sana Unnie, when we were still trainees I didn't have any friends because I was still struggling to speak Korean. One night when my dorm mates were out somewhere I felt overwhelmed and began crying. I was scared and tired but all of a sudden I heard the door open and you came in hearing my cries. I didn't know you well but you said the words that I will remember for the rest of my life."
Sana smiled, "I hugged you and said that it was going to be ok and that once you become an idol it would be worth all the pain."
Tzuyu smiled, "thank you, Sana." And Sana nodded.
"Ok who's next?" Jihyo asked.
"I'll go." Chaeyoung said and looked directly at Mina. Mina smiled knowing Chaeyoung picked her.
"Mina, one time a couple years ago after we became idols we were busy training all night for dance. After everyone left I stayed and practiced extra time because I felt not good enough..." she paused, "and when I was done it was almost three o'clock in the morning. It was so late. But when I went outside. You were there waiting for me. I don't know why you waited for so long just to walk me home but it meant everything that you cared about me that much."
Mina smiled a bright smile, "that's because I wanted to. I wanted to wait for you because you deserve something good after a long time of practice. You are a very hard worker and there's always a reward for someone like that. I remember you said, "you are truly amazing Mina."
Chaeyoung went over and put her arm around Mina.
"Ok last two." Sana looked at Nayeon and Momo.
"Momo." Nayeon smirked, "one time we were in the airport and everything was chaos with so many fans surrounding us. But right as I was about to enter the plane, someone grabbed me and try pulling me away. You were the only one who noticed and grabbed me bag slapping the man's hand off me. Then you said something to that man."
"Never touch her again or I will punch your face." Momo laughed.
Nayeon laughed along, "correct!"
"Well this didn't solve anything." Sana sighed, "and now we know Dahyun isn't the traitor."
"So who's going in a pair?" Asked Jeongyeon.
"I will." Jihyo offered, "it's risky but I'm willing to take any risk. And no one else needs to volunteer because I'm going to pick a number from one out of ten."
After discuss and picking numbers, Jihyo was going with Nayeon, Mina, Chaeyoung and Sana, and finally Jeongyeon, Momo and Tzuyu.
The haunted house had three main parts. Two sides of the downstairs and the upstairs.
Jihyo and Nayeon were going the right part of the downstairs, which is where they already were. Mina, Chaeyoung and Sana went upstairs and Momo, Jeongyeon and Tzuyu were going to the left part of downstairs.
After they were ready to leave, they put on their serious faces, not having a clue of what they were going to face. It's time to beat this game.
"Ok. Everyone get in." Jihyo announced. It was like the girls were preparing for battle, "four hours. That's how long we need to look for Dahyun. If time runs out come back here. If you find her come back here and wait for four hours to be up."
"What if-"
"No what if's!" Jihyo scolded interrupted Sana, "if one group doesn't come back. We can only expect the worst. So just please try to come back. And....I know....some of us will be in danger......" but Jihyo was cut short when all of a sudden the ground started shaking.
"What the-" Jeongyeon started. The ground was trembling.
They had to go.
"Good luck!" Momo cried to everyone one last time before they split up.
