"What are you staring at?" Alya questioned the girl completely forgetting about her boyfriends words. Marinette kept silent, but just slightly raised her finger so she could point towards the boy. Marinettes ex boyfriend, Luka. He had never went to Marinettes school, he'd always been homeschooled.

The two met on his boat when she came to see her friends in the band 'kitty section'. It was there big break. The paris music festival was going on, and every band that played would be featured in the news. This could help out the band a lot viewer wise, and set the place for the future. She knew it meant a lot to her friends, so she made time to come.

"Oh. My. Gosh." Alya said confusingly surprised. "He's always been homeschooled! What the fuck is he doing her?"

"I- I- I'm not exactly sure?"

"That's kinda annoying of him to randomly show up at your school."

"Who says he did this as a choice, or to make me feel anything. Maybe his mom got sick of having him homeschooled and sent him here. I mean his sister does go here." Marinette tried making up some reasons why he would be here that excluded her.

"Right" Alya said not completely convinced. The brunette grabbed Marinettes arm and pulled her up the stairs that lead to the school, breaking the gaze Marinette had placed on the blue haired boy, Luka.

"Alya! You're going to pull my arm off! Be careful!"

"Jeez, if you just cooperate with me, it wouldn't be a possibility."

"Sorry! I can walk up the stairs myself!" Marinette shook off Alyas hard grasp, and walked up the stairs. Right when she was about to hit the top of the stairs, she slightly turns her head. There he was, the blue haired boy was staring at Marinette with puppy eyes. She froze and slowly turned her head. "Alya, he's looking at me" she whispered as they slowly crept up the rest of the top stairs.

"Ignore him! Remember, this is your year, you can't let that boy ruin it for you. He broke up with you, he can't expect anything from you. Plus, don't you have the hots for Adrien." Marinette stopped right in her tracks.

"ALYA! OH YOU'RE SO GOING TO GET IT!"

"Get what exactly?" Alya laughed as she crossed her arm and raised a eyebrow. "Girl, you cant do anything to me."

"It isn't fair how you're so much bolder and stronger then me."

"Come on, it was a joke, I know you hate his guts." Alya said punching Marinettes arm slightly.

"Are you girls coming to class, or nah?" Nino stared at them in boredom

"Right! School! Alright, so we have 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, lunch, and 5th together, but we don't have 6th together. Aw man, that's really unfortunate, I mean at least we have every other class together." Marinette told the two.

"Yea, now let's go get to class, or else we're going to be late." As they walked to class, Marinette pulled Alya aside.

"Alya, what am I going to do with Luka here? It's going to be so awkward."

"It will be alright, just don't pay any attention to him and if he talks to you, be nice, but try to leave the conversation as quick as possible. See! Easy right!"

"Yea.." Marinettes unsure voice trailed off as she walked down the hallway towards her class. Alya shortly realized and caught up to her. The two girls glanced down to there schedules and searched for the first period class door number. They found it, and headed in that direction.

"I hope this year is going to be better then last year. Last year was so boring"

"Yea" Marinette sighed as she thought about what happened with Luka last school year. The two best friends approached the classroom door, and walked in. As usual, all the heads turned straight towards the two as the door opened.

"Oh hello! You two must be... hmm.. Marinette and Alya?"

"Correct miss!" Marinette said with a bright smile while Alya nodded her head up and down.

"Well, I hope this late thing won't be a daily issue!"

"It won't! Sorry Marinette here was a little nervous!" Alya said while Marinette slightly punched her arm at her lie.

"Go take a seat!"

"Ok, thank you!" The two took the seats right behind Juleka and Rose.

The first couple of periods went by pretty normal. The teachers just went over basic guidelines and a bunch of other first day of school boring stuff. Lunch was normal also. The varsity boys were being loud and trashy, while the varsity girls sat and laughed, the loners ate alone, and the others were communicating at a normal volume being polite. After 5th period, Marinette had to say goodbye to Alya and Nino and go to her class she had to separate from the two.

"Bye! I love you two!"

"Bye Marinette"

"See ya dudette" And after that, Marinette started running towards her last class. She ran so fast, she couldn't see where she was going. She couldn't be late to another class! No not this year! This year was supposed to be different! That's when she bumped right into a familiar blonde.
