"You know Charlotte, i did see you with a certain someone"

The common area was filled with the chatter of young slytherins, scattered about.

"You what!?" Blaise sqealed similarly as a small child would. "Relax Zabini, it was just a small kiss" Charlotte rolled her eyes. "Why wont you tell me who it was? As your best friend i should know everything about you".

"I just uhm ..i dont remeber his name thats all, you wouldnt know him anyway, plus it was just a stupid kiss that meant nothing anyway" there was a subtle cold change in her expression as she spoke.

"Maybe not to him, but youve never even cared to as much as to look at a guy, nevermind make-out with one" Blaise joked, as he sarcasticly prentended to be amazed.
"Ok, for your information, Blaise, i have kissed multiple guys before" Charlotte sounded confident in her vaguely untruthfull, exagerated statement.

"Char, hate to break it to you, but two guys is not 'multiple' " Blaise sniggered. "Three! three guys" The red head began to get slightly more ticked off by the boy each time he spoke and proved her to be wrong.

Before anyone could say anything else they heard a small chuckle from the back of the common room, a snort of sorts. Charlotte turned around on the couch to see a certian blonde boy sat on the arm chair almost directly behind her, his grey eyes allready locked on hers before she even noticed.

"something funny? Malfoy" she raised an eyebrow, attempting to look intimidating, wich only made the boy errupt into more of a laughter. "Stop it! i dont appreciate you laughing at me" she crossed her arms as she glared at him.

"Oh no am i in trouble?" Draco pouted. "Do you have to be such a dratted prick Malfoy" Charlotte seethed, trying to contain her temper.

Each time the two spoke they inched towards eachother only ever so slightly, they both didnt seem to notice until both Charlotte and Draco swung their heads to face Zabini at what he had to say about the situation.

"Get a room" he rolled his eyes, he didnt have to look at the pair to know that they both had a discust written all over their face, but instead to his suprise he was faced with Draco glaring at him with his potent gaze, but one would have to be blind if they didnt notice the clear pink tones in his cheeks, his face was completley flushed.
Was the Draco Malfoy blushing?

Blaise also noticed that Charlottes face had reddend conspicuosly, although that happened often to the girl, so he didnt look into it to much.

"relax, ..i was only joking"

"have fun last night did you?" Pansy asked hooking her arm with Charlottes as they walked through the corridor to the library.

"Mhm" she replied, not fully paying attention to her friend.

Parkinson let go of Charlottes arm as they entered the room, she hadnt brought anything other than one note book to study from, unlike the red haired girl who had brought what seemed like an entire library in itself. 

"You know Charlotte, i did see you with a certain someone" Pansy lightly elbowed her in the arm, raising a brow.

Charlotte, who was previously organising her pens onto the circular desk, looked up, her eyes wide open looking at Pansy "What?!" she shreaked, accidently knocking a pen off the table.

"Shhh" the teacher head of the library hushed, as her loud voice did disrupt some studying.

"..what" Charlotte than whispered, her face slightly flushed from embarresment.

"I didnt know you had a thing for Cedric Diggory" Parkinson commented. "-Oh, right yeah Diggory" she laughed sheepishly, relieved Pansy wasnt speaking of whom she thought she was.

"Just a warning though, i heard he cheated on his last girlfriend" she spoke casually as she doodled in her copy book. "If he hurts you, i swear to Merlin i will chop his tiny dick off, Pansy looked up at her best friend sincerely.

"--That wont be necisary Pansy, thank you" Evelyne dipped her quill into the small ink pot infront of her, "Oh, speak of the devil" Pansy smirks as she nodds her head towards the hufflepuff coming their way.

Cedric gave Charlotte a slightly reluctant smile as he walked toward the table they were sat at. "Evelyn, hi".

"Diggory" Charlotte greeted the boy with a nod. "Could i ask you something?" he spoke. Pansy sent her a suggestive wink, a small grin spread across her face.

"of course you can" Charlotte's smile was eye catching to say the least, so much so that it could put any boy in a momentary trance.

"Did you drop this?" Cedric pulled out a colored pen from his pocket, the one that had previously fallen from Charlottes desk. Both hers and Pansys faces dropped slightly at his lacking question.

"hm? -oh right, my pen" she laughed awkwardly, "yes its mine, thank you".

Diggory handed her the pen and than left to sit back down where his things were, across the room from the two girls.

"..well that was,, uneventful to say the least" Pansy brooded shortly after his leaving.

"Oh hell" Charlotte groaned, lying her head down on the desk "remind me never to go to a stupid party ever again".

"Hang over?"

"Uh-huh" she kept her head down on the table, buried into her arms, she felt light headed, almost sick.

"You should take a break from studying,, go have some fresh air"  said Pansy, allready packing her things.
"Youre only saying that because you dont want to study, Pansy"  Charlotte rolled her light green eyes at the girl next to her.

"Not true!" Parkinson retorted, crossing her arms over as she leaned closer to charlotte momentarily.
"I just care about your well being, thats all" She had a cheesy smile on her face "..pluss, its a saterday. Come on, not even that Granger is studying right now, and thats really saying something!".

Charlotte sighed ",,fine". Pansys smile grew wide as she gave her friend a tight hug. "-If, you get off of me that is, --and were coming straight back here tomorow morning! dont think you got away with anything, i know you have potions homework to do".

...

The two girls left the library minutes later, Cedric noticed and gave Charlotte a wave goodbye. As they walked through the corridor giggling about it, Charlotte felt someone purposefully shove past her, she watched as the blonde hurried of, not taking a second to look back at the girl he had just ran into.
Charlotte stood still for a moment trying to regain her balance, a few of the books in her hand almost falling.

"Dont mind him Char, your better than that" Pansy reminded her. She knew Charlotte better than anyone else and she could see something was wrong by the way she didnt even attempt to speak up to Draco, as she usually would, instead she just stood and watched, her eyes seemed sorrowfull and dull.
