Chapter 1 where's Percy

ANNABETH POV

I woke up, excited to start planning how I want to design Olympus. Since after the Kronos fight it was destroyed and they picked me to rebuild it. It was absolutely a dream come true. Right when I started writing ideas I heard the horn which signals it's breakfast.

As I get up I groan loudly. "I thought you would be excited since you get to see your boyfriend". Said Malcolm my half sibling. "Shut up". I said while glaring at him. He gulps and goes straight out the cabin door. While smiling with pride I went to go eat breakfast.

While looking around I noticed seaweed brain wasn't there. He usually is since he loves food so much. I quickly get up and walk to Grover who's sat at Poseidon's table waiting for Percy no doubt.

He notices me and looks up. while enjoying a empty diet coke can he found. Most likely Mr.D's.

While sitting down he asked. "Hey Annabeth, what do you need?". He's always a good friend. "Have you seen Percy?". I asked a little concerned. "no I can go with you to see if he slept in". He replied stuffing his face with another can. I agreed, and after breakfast we were on our way to cabin three. (hey it rhymes)

We were talking about everything seeming as we hadn't hung out in a bit now that he's part of the counsel.

Once we got there he knocked on the door. "Hey Percy". No replie. "Percy". He said again with no sound on the other side. I push passed him thinking he might be sleeping still. "Percy open the door". I banged and yelled. still no reply .

Both of us look at each other. I turn the door nob taking out my dagger and peeked inside his bed was empty. After Grover stepped in we looked around. everything was neat and quite to quite. Grover knocked on the bathroom door. When no one answered he slowly opening the door. when he noticed that there wasn't any sound and thinks no one's in there he opens his eyes.

Both of us look at each other him standing in front of the bathroom door and me standing beside his bed. After we put our weapons away we immediately ran around camp asking if anyone's seen him.

I can't how- I mean how what. I don't know I'm confused and want Percy Jackson back. After no one knew where he was we went straight to Chiron. Chiron is the camp director he should know where seaweed brain is.

Right when about to open the door of the big house we met with a centaur in front of us. Chiron! Oh thank the gods.

He looked at us confused as I'm outta breath and Grover looks on the verge of tears. "What's going on". He said alarmed. "We- I take a breath- can't find Percy". His eyes go wide

He urges us inside his office. while he went back to his wheelchair and we took a seat in front of him. "He's not in his cabin or anywhere on camp and no one's seen him today it's like he vanished even everything in his cabin is neat". Grover spoke. "I see, we will start making plans to find him, do you know anywhere he could've gone?". "Yeah, his mom's house with Blofis". Grover says. He looks confused. "Blowfish?". "No Blow-fis, no h". I said helping his confusion. "oh I see, then you two shall go there tommorow".

We both nodded praying to Zeus that he was there and safe, not kidnapped.
Grover went over to Pan's cabin where he was staying to pack while I went to my cabin to do the same.

I packed up my laptop, cap, ambrosia, and along with other things we might need. It might be over packing but I want to make sure we are prepared. You never know what will happen when your a demigod.

After dinner I headed to cabin number six, to try and sleep. Of course it didn't work. Who could sleep when someone they love is out and there alone by themselves probably in trouble, probably hurt. No. He will be alright he's probably just at his mom's.

I stopped myself thinking any further. But by now I'm already crying a little bit. I'm guessing my brother heard me because he decided to ask. "are you okay Annabeth?". "Yeah totally". I said back with a bit of attitude. "you don't sound okay, do you want to talk about it". "Talk about what I'm fine".

While getting up I grabbed my backpack and dagger that was in it's sheath and walked out the door. I told him I was going on a walk. I am just not going back for the night.

Walking to cabin three with tears in my eyes as I entered. The bed was still made it looked like no one has slept in it. Can't he be left alone even for a little bit. I lay down clutching his pillow it still had his sent. just think about him made me sob. Until two am I was sobbing uncontrollably until I fell asleep with a dream about the one and only Percy jackson.
