Chapter 1 : ABO

Seungcheol always wanted to be a doctor.

He always wanted to save lives to help people, the feeling of relief and satisfaction when you save someone was something seungcheol sought for as a child.

He was born into a poor family, they owned a farm and everyday as seungcheol watched his parents both work in the fields seungcheol can't help but feel like he needed to achieve his dream for the sake of his parents.

They have been nothing but supportive of seungcheol, they both loved him with all their hearts that seungcheol couldn't ask for more.

Except for one.

Seungcheol had always been fond of reading, at a young age he would go to the library near their town only a 30 minute walk, and he would read coming back home with a stack of books.

At night as he listened to the sound of the crops seungcheol would take out his lamp and start reading.

Of course his parents were happy, because their child was a genius, he can speak 5 languages from books alone.

They have never been so proud of him.

Until he presented.

Seungcheol was a recessive omega.

Omegas are the weakest of them all portrayed as the bottom of the human chain, omegas are the people who reproduce.

They are often mistreated by their alphas and considered weak, what much more if he was recessive.

Omegas are the lowest of them all, they are portrayed as more feminine and are burden with the word called heat, in which omegas are highly aroused and attracts alphas.

Seungcheol has heard lots of these.

In cases where an omega's heat is triggered and they get raped and molested by disgusting alphas.

Seungcheol has never been more disappointed in the world than this.

And so as he represented, his parents began to worry.

It not like they are trying to keep his dreams away from him, they're just scared. Seungcheol has wanted to leave the nest and study far away from them, of course they have no trouble if he was an alpha or a beta, but he was an omega.

If there's one thing his omega father knew it was that being an omega is 3x harder than being a beta.

The constant flirting of alphas, and the domination, peiple consider omegas as nothing and Seungcheol's father didn't want his son to experience the pain of being discriminated just because he was assigned a second gender he had no control over.

They decided to withhold Seungcheol's dream of learning.

And seungcheol.... he wasn't happy.

He had spent every days of his living learning and reading just to prove that whatever his second gender may be he will always be him.

But the economy prevents him to.

Fight after fight, shouts of disagreements, seungcheol hated every second of it.

And as he packed his bag and wrote his letter.

Seungcheol had never been more sure of what he wanted.

Because he.... wanted to be the one to prove to the world that omegas are so much better than alphas.

"Seungcheol!"

Seungcheol snapped his head and turned around to see a fellow omega, his bestfriend.
