Chapter 1 • Caught

3rd POV

Twilight was about to head inside her house that she shares with her boyfriend, Mordecai, after getting groceries for the two. When she stepped in she heard her boyfriends voice, but not just that, she also heard another girls voice!
She didn't want to assume anything so she went inside more to hear what they are saying.
R/n: "Mordecai Im done being your fling, if your not gonna break up with her and date me we're done with this little thing."
Mordecai: "B-but R/n you know I can't just break up with her, I still love her!"
R/n: "If you loved her so much, why aren't you waiting for her to be ready. Your not only hurting me, but her as well. If you aren't going to chose I will leave."
Mordecai: "W-wait! Let's talk about it alright, we can figure this out!"
R/n: "No Mordecai, Im done waiting for you, you should of seen this coming."
After the girl said that Twilight could hear steps getting louder, but she didn't care. She was in tears, on the brink of breaking down. The steps were put to a stop and there was a gasp.

Twilight's POV

I can't believe this, my boyfriend of 2 whole years is cheating on me. And he's leading on this other girl?! I'm trying my best to hold in my tears and not fully break down but it's so hard. I heard a gasp which made me finally look up, I didn't even realize I dropped the groceries on the floor.
I looked up to see R/n with a hand over her mouth, she obviously didn't expect me. To be honest I was t really mad at her, but she still did know that me and him were dating.
R/n: "T-twilight your home! Im so sorry you probably heard our whole conversation!! Im really sorry, Mordecai didn't tell me you guys were dating until today, that's why I broke things..."
Twilight: "Dont worry R/n, it's not you Im mad at."

3rd POV

After Twilight said that R/n sighed in relief. Mordecai ended up walking out of the bedroom not to later. He caught eye of Twilight and his eyes widened in guilt and worry. R/n left in a hurry so she wouldn't get in the middle of what's about to happen.
Mordecai: "Twilight, I-i'm sorry! You weren't suppose to know about this!"
Twilight: "Oh yeah I can tell I wasn't suppose to know about this you filthy bird."
Mordecai: "Oh come on Twilight! No need to be so mean!"
Twilight: "NO MORDECAI BECAUSE THIS IS NOT OKAY! YOU BETRAYED ME, AND I KNOW THAT YOULL NEVER FEEL SORRY, FOR THE WAY I HURT, YEAH YOU TALKED TO HER, WHEN WE WERE TOGETHER LOVED YOU AT YOUR WORSE, BUT THAT DIDNT MATTER!"
Mordecai was caught off guard by her singing, but she sounded so majestic. After a long screaming match it finally ended by Twilights final words.
Twilight: "GET OUT! IM DONE WITH YOUR BULLSHIT!"
Mordecai knew that was his signal to pack his things and leave. After he was done and left Twilight finally broke down crying. She was so sad and heartbrocken by all of this.
Twilight: "Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shootings stars..."

Mordecai: "I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now~"
