What the hell just happened? I thought while trying to fight back hot tears brimming my eyes. Stupid is what he was, I mean true, instead of playing pool with Tyler I should have gone looking for him.

Yet at the same time, I didn't want to be rude. What was up with him? Taking out my phone, I called Ann, giving her my location.

Now all I could do was to wait for her to come get me. Ugh, boys' stupid, not worth my time. I knew this was a bad idea, especially a guy from my own pack.

After waiting, Ann showed up. I quietly got into her car, closing the door behind. "Thank you for rescuing me this is embarrassing," I said with a hint of anger.

"C'mon, I wouldn't leave you stranded and besides better me than Ash or dad," she said.

She was right no way was calling our alpha or Asher an option. Sighing I settled into the seat, trying to figure out how the fight was my fault? "Are you going to give me details on what happened?" asked Ann.

So, I gave Ann the recap, starting with Ethan picking me up to how he left infuriated with me.

"Oh, my you two kissed again? Why did you stop the kiss?" There was no honest answer to why, so I just shrugged my shoulders. Not wanting to meet her eyes because what she said was true, I was a real B this evening.

"Well for the record I am not on his side, but you did sort of ditch him tonight," Ann said nervously. I remained silent as I replayed the last few hours over and over in my head.

"You know the night is still young, how about we ditch this place and go let loose?" Ann suggested.

"Honestly that sounds good right now," I said with a slight grin. I didn't mind blowing off some steam with some human boy.

"Where are you thinking? How about we use our fake IDs and hit up Half Moon early?" I asked. I really wanted to be with someone now. I cashed in my V card with a human boy I had known since grade school, but he moved away last year, and no one knows about him except Ann.

He was the only guy I slept with, and in my world, we don't hook up with males of my kind because of the mating thing. So, most of us meet humans to be with.

There are some like Ann who wait for their mate. Hey, I am a teenage girl who happens to be half human, so it was normal to scratch my itch here and there.

Once parked, we locked up her car and made our way to the door. No surprise, there was a line, and a guard going through purses, and another checking IDs at the door.

As soon as someone opened the door, I caught a few scents of wolves. Joyful, I hoped half the pack wasn't here, I just wanted to be surrounded by humans for a while.

Ann stiffened when we reached the door. She was always nervous when we used the IDs. "ID please," the bouncer said as he then asked if we had any weapons on us while he reached for Ann's purse. Reaching in she grabbed her ID while I pulled mine from my back pocket.

I hate purses, they are big and annoying in my eyes. If it's too big for my pockets, then I don't bother carrying. The bouncer then cleared us returning the purse and our IDs. I smiled as I pulled on Ann's arm. Once inside, she breathed out as if she had been holding her breath.

"Jeeze, you need to learn to relax," I said as I looked around the room.

"Funny, I always get antsy when we do that because I worry about getting caught," Ann said as she started walking to the right where there were some tables and a small area of booths.

At the front of the room was the DJ and the dance floor. To the left was the bar and restrooms. Spotting an empty table, I waited until Ann was sitting. "What do you want to drink tonight?" I asked.
