Flames

Part 2

James's POV
I had just gotten home and all I could think about was Emily. I knew she was home, I just had a feeling that she was there, I just wanted to help her ya know. She just needed someone to be there for her.

At dinner I didn't eat anything, I just played with my food, it was like I was to worried to eat anything. For some reason I missed her. I just had to be near her. Without her I just felt, lost.

James's POV

It was the first day back at school and I went to check my classes, mostly too see if emily was in any of them. But she wasn't, so now I'm kinda bummed out, yet I have no idea why I miss her so much, it's probably just because she's my friend, nothing more nothing less. I think.

As I walked down the halls I saw my friends Michelle and Eldon playing with each others hair and laughing and giggling, I felt like vomiting. It was disgusting seeing my best friends go all sweet on each other.

I walked down the halls trying to escape from Michelle and Eldon, and find my classes. I might have been looking for Emily a bit as well. Then I see Riley and Hunter, and then I remembered something, when I was walking down the hall to get to the studio B, where Emily was, I saw Hunter and Michelle kissing. So now I'm kinda confused. Was Michelle cheating on Eldon?

Emily's POV
It was the first day back at school and I was trying to hide my face, from everyone. I walked down the halls with a hood over my face. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see James, "Emily!" He said in an excited tone pulling me in for a hug. It was weird but, it felt like there was something between us.

At first I hesitated, then I felt more like I was at home. I slowly wrapped my arms around him, hugging him back. "Where have you been" He said still embracing me in his arms, it was like we were a couple, but I kinda liked it. I don't know why but, I really did.

Over James's shoulder I saw Michelle and Eldon flirting with eachother. Then I turned my head slightly and saw, Riley and Hunter, kissing against the lockers. At first I felt angry, then sad, and then I got confused. Hunter was kissing Michelle the other day, so why was he kissing Riley?
