Hi guys! My name is Sofie, and I sorta really wanna get into writing longer stories. If you could please vote, comment, and read my first successful story, that'd be great! :)

"Lucy, baby, wake up." My mom shook me until I opened my ocean blue eyes.

"What time is it?" I said as my voice croaked. I looked around my purple room. The shades were already up, and the sun seeped into my room. I could already tell it was going to be really early in the morning.

"It's 6:30. We have to go pick up your father from the airport in an hour." I rolled over onto my side and groaned. My mom walked out of the room, and I rolled out of bed. I walked over to my mirror and looked at myself. The perfect braid I put in before I went to bed had strands of hair falling out, and it was very loose. My blue plaid bottoms were down to the rim of my underwear. My black tank top was just above my growing boobs, and showing off just a bit of my tan skin.

"Mom. It's summer. Why can't I just stay here and sleep?" I called to her in annoyance.

"Because I can't trust you here alone. Last time I left you home alone for a few hours, FIVE boys came over. FIVE. Lucy. That's way too many. I don't even care if it's 6:30 in the morning." I let out a groan, and closed my door. My dresser, which was next to my mirror, had clothes spilling out of it. I grabbed a shirt and leggings. I got dressed, then walked downstairs.

"There really is no point in getting dressed."

"Well at least you can fix you hair, or put it into a better braid." My mom grabbed my braid, and put it back down.

"Anyways mom, there's like two more days until school starts."

"Anyway, darling." My mom smiled as I redid my braid. I rolled my eyes, and she smiled again. We both jumped into the car after eating something.

It was a short ride to the airport, but it was quiet the whole time. Once we got there, my dad's plane was landing, but I wasn't paying attention to that. I was paying attention to the boy that had gotten off the plane with my dad.

"Lucy! Shannon! Come here and meet Trent!" My dad waved us over to him and the boy. From first looks he looked pretty attractive. I got closer and saw he had olive green eyes, with hints of gold. His hair was dark brown, and it was gelled up like every boy had their hair. He had the most amazing dimples when he saw me. I was a little disappointed that I didn't put makeup on, or even bother to fix my hair.

"Hey Lucy. My name's Trent. Your dad talked a lot about you and your mom."

"Oh yea. Well did he tell you I don't normally look like terrible?" He chuckled at my joke and smiled.

"He told me that you're the most beautiful, out-going, funny girl every, and I'm starting to agree with him." I started to feel like heat rise to my cheeks.

"Please tell me your not my cousin." I smiled, looking up at him.

"Oh I promise you on my father's grave, we're not cousins. Your dad and my dad worked together, and he once he passed, he wanted me to come stay with you until I finish high school." I looked confused, then thought about it some more.

"I've met you before! You were like young, and not as good looking as you are now. We used to call your dad Uncle Ted. I knew he wasn't really my uncle though." He nodded and smiled, flashing his dimples. Another girl got off the plane and walked up behind him.

"Hey boy. Where ya going? I've been eyeing you the whole way from Maryland, and I just wanted to say, you're hot."

"Excuse me, but can't you tell I'm flirting with this girl over here, so bye bye." He waved by to her, and I felt myself blush again.

"She's not even pretty. Isn't that right Lucy?"

"Angie, please go back to Shankville." I smiled at my remark as she gasped and stomped away.

"You know her?"

"Sadly.... We go to school together. Her name is Angie, and she's a shank. She'll probably hit on you some more." I rolled my eyes at the mention of her name.

"Yea well, I've already got my eyes on a beautiful girl." He winked and I blushed, once again.

"Trent, Lucy. Follow Richard to luggage. I suppose that Trent will need some help with his luggage." I smiled at her, and followed my dad.

"So tell me more about the shanks at school."

"Wellllllll, there's a lot of them. They smell like fresh fish. They normally walk around in really short shorts. They hit on any guy they find cute. They'll try to hit on you so so so so so much, so its best to get a girlfriend the first day of school, which will be easy." He smiled when I finished talking.

"Are you popular?"

"Me? Popular. Duh. I'm like the nice one everyone wants to be friends with though. Our school is sorta normal. I'm friends with like everyone, so there's that." I smiled, and the rest of the way it was just silence. We got the luggage and walked to the car. I was pushed in the back with Trent, but it was okay.

"Lucy, when we get home, can you show Trent your room, which you two will be sharing until I can fix Ben's room for him?"

"Why can't he just sleep in there. It's not like Ben would even care. He's at collage, so he won't be back until Thanksgiving."

"I have to move all of our useless stuff out there. Your mother and I will be fixing it today and tomorrow. No need to have a shit fit." My mom scowled at him for swearing, but he didn't care.

"Fine. I'll take him around town too. Maybe even the beach to go swimming. We can meet up with Allie and Clay and Brooke and Chris. Trent, do you have a swim suit?"

"Well duh. I knew I was coming to Cali, so I bought one."

"Great. I'll call all of them once its like 10 cause they won't be up until 10." I smiled, excited to see all of my best friends before school started.

"So, Lucy, has anyone taken you yet?" Trent whispered into my ear.

"Not yet. I'm just waiting for the right person."

"Same with me. But somebody would have already felt you up. Am I right?" He pointed at my boobs and I nodded.

"Hey! I can see you kids back there." My dad shouted back laughing, and I started to blush some more. We drove home while my dad was talking about his exciting trip to Maryland visiting his mom and dad, and picking up Trent. I basically ignored him, and put my head on Trent's shoulder, and fell asleep again. It was only a matter of minutes until I felt a hand gentle pushing me to wake me up. I opened my eyes, and I saw it was Trent, then I looked out the window, and saw we here home. I unbuckled my seatbelt and jumped onto the driveway.

"Lucy wait. Don't run off right away! You need to help us."

"Momm I'm tired. Please just let me go back to sleep."

"No, help us, then you and Trent can go back to sleep." I grunted, then walked over to the car and helped them grab the luggage. I brought some of it up to my room, and showed Trent around my room.

"This is where you'll be sleeping for now, because the bed is mine, and I sleep on here every single night, unless I'm not home." I gestured towards the messy floor full of clothes and one or two bras. I quickly cleaned up the mess while my dad pulled an air matress into my room.

"Trent. you'll be sleeping on this, not the floor. Lucy loves to over react on her bed. It'll only take a few minutes to fully blow up. Do not jump on it, and no having sex on it."

"Dad!" Trent giggled at my dad's comment and I jumped under the covers on my bed. I heard him walk out, and I came out.

"So, which rule of your dad's are we going to break?" He winked, and I felt a rush go through my body. Soon after, I fell asleep, with him in bed with me, his back pressed against mine.
