"Lucy! What did we tell you? You two can not be together. We'll have to keep this door open if you two are going to end up like that." I awoke to my mom yell at me.
"Shannon leave them alone. They're teenagers, and you never know, Lucy might end up being gay."
"Dad God dammit stop! Why does it matter that we were cuddling? I probably fell asleep and he probably slept walked up here and cuddle against me." I tried to defend myself, but I found heat rise to my face.
"You've blushed a lot. Maybe three times?" I looked down at my bed covers and messed with a white circle on it.
"Where's my phone?" I turned to Trent to ask, but he was already sitting with it in his hand. I growled at him to give it back.
"Not until you kiss me." He taunted me, and I sighed. I leaned into kiss him, but then my mom walked in again.
"Lucy. What are you doing? Kissing a boy. I have half the mind to ground you. I would if your father wasn't in the house. God damn him for having control over you."
"M-m-m-mom I can- Dad!" I heard my dad walk up the big staircase into my room.
"Yes Lucy?"
"Mom keeps bothering me and telling me she's going to ground me for leaning into bite Trent."
"Why would you bite Trent? He's our guest, treat him like one." He looked at me and smiled. He came close up to my ear and whispered, "I taught you well young one." He patted my shoulder, and pulled my mom out of the room and closed the door. Trent and I smiled at each other, and he put my phone under his butt.
"Really dude? I was starting to like you, and your weird pine scent smell, Maryland boy."
"So is that what you've decided to call me? Maryland boy. I love it. Hmmm what should I call you, "Pretty girl. That's it! Pretty girl." He grinned, and I could tell he had a plan.
"So Pretty girl, where's my kiss?"
"When did you turn into the bad guy? We were hitting it off so well, then we fell asleep."
"Just kiss me already dammit. I want those pink lips on my lips!" He kissed me. It wasn't just a peck, but a full on I'm-going-eat-your-face kiss. My body caved into his, and for a minute I thought I was going to die. He pulled back and smiled.
"I wanna do that some more, but some other time." He handed me my phone back, and I called my friends and I told them that we would met at the beach in 2 hours. That was enough time for me to show Trent around town.
"Get dressed, we're going around town for a bit, then we'll meet up with everyone at the beach. Swim suit and a shirt. Nothing black. It'll make you look weird, and hot. Not hot in the good way." I looked in my drawers of my dresser and found a black, strapless swimsuit with blue and pink straps in the between the boobs. I got the bottoms too, which were black with the same blue and pink straps, but between the two parts. I also pulled out a pair of short jean shorts. Trent walk out of the room and he went to go get dressed. Once he got back, we both walked down the stairs to go tell my parents that we were leaving.
"Hey, hey, hey, where are you kids going? As your father I should know. I should know everything that you do cause, you still are my little girl." He put he arm around me and shook me a bit.
"We're going around town, then to the beach. No sex, drugs, or alcohol." I told him in my most uptight, good girl voice. He smiled, then Trent and I walked out into the garage.
"Grab those bottles over there." I pointed to three water bottles in the corner. I walked over to our mini fridge, and opened it. Trent brought me the water bottles and I smiled.
"What's these for?"
"Wine and beer. We're not going to any normal beach. Can you also grab me my purse over in the corner?" He walked over and grabbed it.
"My parents think that they drink all of there alcohol, but really, I hid it out here. They never go in this one, thus the reason why there's only drinks in these." I grabbed several bottles of beer and wine, and put them in my purse. I closed the fridge door, and locked it. I put the bottles in paper towels so they'd make less noise while we were walking around town. We walked out of the side door, and into the hot California air.
"Well, you turned into little Miss. Popular, into Miss. Drinky in 5 seconds. I like it."
"Shut up. My neighbors will tell my parents if they hear you talking about it. That's the reason why my mom flips every time I'm home alone. I hate-" Mr. Dickson, my neighbor, walked out of his door, and looked over at me.
"Hello Luciana. Are you going out drinking again?"
"No sir. Just walking around town. I have a few sodas that I don't want to carry around."
"Who is that boy? Would your mother approve of him?"
"Probably not." I muttered under my breathe.
"What was that?"
"He's staying with us until he finishes high school. He's from Maryland. His dad was my dad's close friend, sir."
"Thank you for telling me that information. I was worried I would have to tell your mom that you're sneaking around with boys again. You should have learned last time." I smiled and thanked him. Me and Trent walked away from the house.
"So that's your asshole neighbor? I don't like him one bit. You're obviously not sneaking around with me. Other than that kiss, there's nothing to worry about." He nudged my arm, and I smiled a bit, playing with my messy hair, that was now in a better braid than before. We walked towards town, not saying words, but I felt his fingers mess with mine, and I smiled, trying my hardest not to show it. We walked into the center of town. There wasn't much to show him, but it was almost 11, and I was getting hungry.
"Where do you wanna eat?" I turned to him, hoping he would say somewhere cheap.
"How about there?" He pointed to a pretty cheap place, and I nodded, then walked over to it. We both order something small, but enough to fill my stomach.
"So, where's this place we're going?"
"Just a few minutes out of town. We have to walk out there, but the water is so blue and there's a lot of cliffs and stuff. Its super fun, and there might be dolphins and other animals. We go there a lot, so we know it so well. Whenever we say beach, we mean the cliffs."
Shit I probably just sounded so dorky. At least he's smiling, I think.
"It sounds beautiful." He smiled and played with the end of my braid. We sat there and ate our food for a bit in silence. It was awkward for me, but I kept eating.
"Oh my God! Hottie! I didn't know you were going to be here." I growled as I realized who just walked in.
"Angie, go away, please."
"No. I wanna figure out his name. Maybe we all can go to the cliffs together."
"Angie, go away. He doesn't want to talk to you. If he did want to talk to you, he'd be talking to you."
"Well, you're not letting him talk to me, so let him talk."
"Lucy's right. I don't want to talk to you. You're gross. Please leave so we can finish our meal without getting herpes." Angie's jaw dropped down to the floor. She walked out of the door, with her little hang bag swaying at her side.
Me and him starting to laugh, and first it was just giggling, but then it went onto full out crying my eyes out. I finished laughing, and checked my phone again.
"We gotta go. Its almost 11:40. It takes like 10 minutes to get there, so hurry your little butt up." He stood up and giggled while he walked out. I followed him, and once we hit the hotness of outside, I felt a sweat break loose. We walked towards the cliffs, passing people talking and giggling, while we were doing the same thing. We talked about our lives, what normally happens between two people. We reached the cliffs, and my friends weren't there yet, so we just waited for them, silently.
