(The Team 2 - The War Between)
Wanda Maximoff and Willa Stark's unique bond and friendship/sisterhood
Willa felt bad for Wanda after everything that has happened to her. Wanda lost everything, her parents, her brother, her home, and now she is living with strangers.
Willa wanted to make Wanda feel better and let her know that she was going to help her if she ever needed it. As the time went on the two grew close and on boring rainy days they would play boardgames.
"Okay Wanda would you like to be the race car or the thimble?" Willa asks.
"The race car." Wanda says.
"Good choice. I'll be the dog." Willa says.
"Why wasnt that an offer for me?" Wanda asks.
"Because I want to be the dog." Willa says.
"Fine whatever." Wanda says.
"Hey Wanda... I... Oh sorry." Vision says.
"Thats okay Vis. Since its raining out we decided to play monopoly. Would you like to join us?" Wanda asks.
"Umm... Sure." Vision says.
"And that means you can be the thimble." Willa says.
"Alright... But why is there a thimble?" Vision asks.
Thats when it got quiet. The two girls looked at one another and then at Vision.
"You know. No one really knows." Wanda says.
The three of them played and surprisingly Willa ended up winning.
"I swear she must of cheated." Vision says.
"I did not. Thats what people who lose always say." Willa says.
"You must of there is no way." Vision says.
"Vis, she won. Just let it go." Wanda says.
"Im going to find all rules so I can to prove she cheated." Vision says leaving the room.
The two just started laughing when he left so sure Willa cheated at the game. And she did, but Wanda did help her cheat.
"And thats the robot you like." Willa says.
"I dont like him.. I mean I do. As a friend." Wanda says.
"Right.. Friend." Willa says using quotations around the word friend.
"Hey watch it. I have been in your head remember. Your Steve Rogers loving head." Wanda says.
"Hey! Shut up. I dont know what you're talking about. Steve and I are just friends." Willa says.
"Yeah.. Friends." Wanda says putting the quotations around the word friends. Just as Willa did to her.
"You know I bet if we asked the team they would say you love Steve." Wanda says getting up.
"First off I dont. Secondly stop saying that. Thirdly, Vision wouldnt, neither would my Uncle Rhodey, and Steve would defiantly say you're crazy. Which you are." Willa says getting up.
"Yes, but Nat and Sam would agree." Wanda says.
"Nat and Sam would both agree to jump of a bridge." Willa says.
"True, but you still love Steve." Wanda says walking out the door.
"I do not." Willa says following her.
As they walked around the Compound Wanda kept saying that Willa loved Steve, but without saying it was Steve.
Steve though slightly over heard Wanda and Willa giggling about something and he started paying attention to Willa instead of what he was supposed to be doing.
"Dude, the mission or is she more important?" Sam questions.
Steve didnt reply as he was only focused on Willa at this point.
"Sam when he is in the Willa trance there is no way to get him out." Nat says.
"So I've noticed." Sam says.
"What do you think their talking about?" Steve asks.
Steve didnt even wait for their answers as he went over to Willa and Sam and Nat following him.
"Just admit it. You love..." Wanda says.
"Ice Cream. Yes. I do." Willa says as Steve walked up.
"Right Ice Cream thats what I was going to say." Wanda says turning around and seeing the others.
"You two were giggling about Ice Cream? Thats weird." Sam says.
"Well I get it I mean. To me, I would assume Willa loves a very special Ice Cream. One that might have been frozen for a long time." Nat says with a smirk.
"Oh... I get it now. Yeah Willa strikes me as the girl who loves a very simple flavor, but its the flavor that can have strong punch to it." Sam says also with a smirk.
"The time in the extra cold did very well for the extra punch." Wanda says smiling at them.
"I dont understand. Why is this talk about Ice Cream making you all make those faces?" Steve asks.
"Cause they have lost their minds." Willa says.
"Hey you're the one with the deep love of extra frozen Ice Cap... I mean Ice Cream." Nat says.
"I dont..." Steve says.
"Okay I read the rules and Willa did indeed cheat. So if she cheated I win." Vision says.
"Fine you win. Great all this talk about Ice Cream makes me want some." Willa says.
"Oh really.." Nat says smirking.
"Not that kind." Willa says.
"Im so confused." Steve says.
"Dont worry about it, they're all nuts." Willa says.
"Well we know you love nuts with your Ice Cream." Wanda says.
"Well actually her Ice Cream comes with nuts." Sam says.
"Oh my god. You guys shut up." Willa says and walked off.
"What was all that about?" Steve asks.
"Couldnt tell you, but if you could read her mind you'd understand." Wanda says.
After that Wanda was in full teasing Willa mode and those ones also had a new code name for Steve. Which if you didnt know it was about it, then you wouldnt understand.
But Willa didnt care about it because it was easy for her to let Wanda pick fun at her crush on Steve. And why? Because it made Wanda feel better. Better enough that she didnt have to feel as sad as she used to.
"Hey Willa?" Wanda questions.
"Yeah." Willa says.
"Thank you." Wanda says.
"For what?" Willa questions looking over at her.
"For being my friend and making everything bad just go away." Wanda says.
"Of course. Whenever you need me to lift your spirits I will. Thats what friends are for." Willa says.
"Well Im lucky to have you. You really helped with everything. I owe you. If you're ever going through something like this I will be there for you just like you were here for me." Wanda says to her.
"Thank you Willa. Just thank you." Wanda says hugging her.
"Of course." Willa says hugging her back.
It was clear that Willa would have Wanda's back through anything, but will Wanda really have Willa's back when she's lost and utterly broken.
