"Two years ago?" asked Forth confused. He shrugged. "I don't know, Phi, I forgot. Too many gangs that I beat back then, before Beam."

Beam laughed. He looked at Forth with love in his eyes. He knew Forth's reputation as the leader of engineering wolves.

Forth often fights, but never without reason. Several times he and the gang he led ended up at the police station. Not to receive punishment for fighting but because the cops were grateful after Forth beat up the thugs or criminals they had a hard time catching.

Beam never stopped Forth from fighting because he knew Forth never intentionally started a fight. He will only take a deep breath, treat Forth's wound then hug him for a long time.

Suthee held out a few photos in front of Forth. He pointed to a girl in the photo. "This is it. That woman. Her name is Foya. She ran away from her home at the age of 18 and lived with her boyfriend, after her stepfather tried to rape her while she was drunk. This is her boyfriend," said Suthee, pointing to another photo. "You know him?"

Forth looked at the photo Suthee was pointing at. "This is... Don, the leader of the Black Mamba gank, right?"

"Right. Do you remember what happened?"

"I beat them up for selling drugs to my juniors and overdose them in the middle of the exam," Forth recalled. "Don was caught by the police after being on the run for two weeks. I heard he was arrested at the port on a ship bound for China."

"Yes. Seven months ago he was released because the evidence turned out to be insufficient to prove he was involved in a cartel. He was just a petty dealer who had the bad luck dealing with you when he tried to expand his business to college campuses."

"That woman... is pregnant with his child?" asked Beam quietly.

"When Don became a fugitive, she ran away after Forth ransacked the Black Mamba base. She was stranded and almost hit by a car. A plantation owner rescued her and took care of her. She and the plantation owner named Jayler eventually got married, but when she was two months pregnant, her husband died of a heart attack and Don managed to track her down. Don took her and kept her in his house. She escaped again and this time met Wine who helped her." Said Suthee.

"How did he remember my tattoo?" asked Forth confused.

"I saw you when you came to Don at Black Mamba's headquarters," said someone suddenly heard from the living room threshold.

The woman-Foya, stood up clutching her stomach. She looked weak but her face already looked fresher. She walked slowly over to the three people sitting on the sofa and sat next to Suthee, across from Forth and Beam.

"Were you at the Black Mamba base at the time?" asked Forth. "I do not see you."

"You can remember now, Phi?" asked Beam enthusiastically.

Foya nodded slowly. "I remember everything from two days ago. I dreamed of my husband and when I woke up crying, I could remember everything."

"What do you remember?" asked Forth.

"Don tortured me. He has a mental disorder. He likes to be violent while having sex. At first I wasn't too scared because he didn't show it openly. However, when several of his men were caught one by one, he took his anger out on me and started beating  me. I was locked up in the basement of the Black Mamba headquarters when you and your friends came, Nong Forth. Do you remember, that time you opened the door of the dungeon and went inside, but when you didn't see anyone, you came out again and left the door opened. I was there at that time, hiding behind an old broken painting. There was a gap in the painting and I was quite small at the time. I saw your tattoo clearly when you turned around. Your shirt was torn and your tattoo was clearly visible. You go and take away all the members of the Black Mamba, then I ran away. You saved me from the Don back then. If you had not come to attack the Black Mamba base, maybe I wouldn't be here right now. The Don will surely kill me while torturing me."

"That's why you remember my tattoo, Phi?"

"I didn't know who you were at the time, but I remember your tattoo and I was so grateful when I saw you drag Don from the Black Mamba base. After that I met my husband."

"Were you avoiding Don when my brother found you on the street?"

"Yes. My husband died three months ago and a few weeks ago Don started terrorizing me. He asked me to come back to him and even threatened to kill my baby if it was born, if I refused to come back to him. I had to run again, but I knew by then who you are and I decided to meet you and ask for help. Only you are a strong person who can overcome Don. He caught and beat me but I managed to escape while he was sleeping and in short I finally met your brother."

"Geez, Phi, you're really having some really tough days in your life," Beam muttered with concern.

Suthee looked at Foya with pitying eyes.

Foya smiled gently. "It's not all hard, Nong. I've also had happy times with my husband, the child in my womb and while I'm here, under your protection. I don't know what will happen to my son if Don finds us."

"Just stay here," said Suthee firmly. "I've told all of your stories to Forth's parents and they agree too. You'll see them next month, after they and grandparent return from Texas."

"You guys are very kind," said Foya in a hoarse voice and tears rolled down her cheeks. "I will serve this family until I die after my child is born. I will be your servant, Nong Forth and Nong Beam, until I die."

Beam reached out and stroked Foya's shoulder gently. "No, Phi, you can't be a servant. You are welcome here and there is no compulsion for you to stay if you wish otherwise."

"That's right, Phi, we just want to help you. Don't think about anything else right now, just think about your health and that of your future child. Phi Suthee has taken care of everything well."

Suthe nodded. "Everything's been taken care of."

They chatted for a while, then Beam ushered Foya back to her room, while Forth followed Suthee out into the garage. "Phi, what about Don? He's probably still looking for Phi Foya's whereabouts."

Suthee smiled and patted Forth on the back. "Relax, Forth. Right now, he must be crying over his fate in prison."

"Prison? How come?"

"The possession of illegal drugs and sharp weapons for sale, I think is enough to lock him up for at least 20 years."

"Owh. Did you do it?"

"Me?" Suthee's eyebrows rose in an innocent manner. "I didn't do anything. He's just caught up in his own doings."

Forth laughed and held up a thumb. He knew the meaning behind Suthee's laughter. His adoptive brother was the best when it came to clearing things out of place.

"You are the best, Phi."

"Hei, I am the Jaturapoom, too."
